I need a suggestion, should i go for KHOLER or Brigs and stratton in gas genset ??

Kohler and brigs stratton both are good but u can also buy locally assembled generator which is also good my neighbour is using one.

I want to go for the best which serve good in long run, Locally assembled generator is good but mechanic sy dosti achi nhi faraz

It would harmed the alternator for sure as it got return current from KESC.

By mistake, I turned ON power switch (from KESC) while generator engine was OFF but its circuit breaker was ON. It made sound like burzzzzzzz. Would it have harmed alternator or any other electrical device inside generator?

Directly connect it with your 12v transformer which u are using in your Ats. No need for delay.

Can i power it with generator's 12v output???
And which points of 14 point 220v volt relay i should use to power itself

yes u can. point 13 and 14 are to power the 14 point relay

one of my friends generator voltage fluctuates alot 110v-220v,
the AVR was fine. can there be any other reasons for that.
generator guy saying if AVR is OK then your rotor is at fault
and he demanded 14k for complete winding???

yeh chhotay motay items check kar len.. agar OK na ho to phir dynamo ko haath lagaiye ga..

i know only about gen engine as i experienced many problems and learned through this forum,
never had any electrical issues so its first time
i will definetely check these small items before winding

1. check carbons
2. check current on direct line from gene after AVR.
3. as i know winding is not the problem.
4. try genitally cleaning rotor and inner core by soft cloth.
5. re-winding dont cost that much consult someone else.
6. if your gene 12volt supply is from dynamo then check variation in that supply line.(if the problem is with winding then that supply must be disturbed too)

replaced the AVR again and it got resolved thanks for the input.

thats simple like single phase all you need to do is put gene phase wire to 3 single SPDT 220v relays.

if you want it advanced with separate sense for ATS then simple you have to use DPDT 220v relays.
