Yesterday, it gave us lot of trouble. U r lucky that as it has not given u any issue but in my case, after 2 hours of running, Generator was creating issue in starting, Self was stucking too much(both from Key self starter as well as By DORI)
At last i called generator wala, he came & initially replaced Oil and set the tappet and cleaned the Spark plug(Took 400 for Labor) It started but when we stop it and restart, self was something like sucking(By Dori, it was better to start than key start)
After 2 hours, i again called and he told me that he has to open CAM for repairing crank & shaft. then he took gen. to his shop, opened CAM in my presence & we found little pieces of broken dipstick within crank & shaft. We physically removed all residue + cleaned all inside with Petrol.
after fixing, when he started with Dori, it was smoother but at that time, self was not working, so he told that u have burny "Cut out" so replaced it too. After that Alhamdolillah, all went fine
I dont know how it become soft. It is 1st time in 8 years that it broke & went inside. May be as i check oil level so pressing hard by myself could be the reason of breaking it

sir, after all fixation, he checked current with digitial Voltmeter and Alhamdolillah, it was giving 219~220
So all this happened due to small broken dipstick
My total expenditure for Generator yesterday was Rs. 2150:
Oil(Khula oil) Rs. 250
Labor for replacing Engine oil, New dori fitting(handle is still old only rope is new)Tappet checking & spark plug cleaning Rs. 400
Labor for opening, servicing cam, crank, shaft + servicing of other components with Petrol(Petrol of around 1 Litre was bought & arranged by him from his Bike) Rs. 1500
