For food take your own cooked food in tin packs. You can get them canned from a shop in Lahore at nominal costs. ( @usmanhafqat help needed for location of that shop). Phir bus garam kia aur khaya.. will only have to purchase roti. This will greatly reduce ur food cost and will also be more hygienic than hotel food.

Self cooking all the time is not the option.. it will waste ur time a lot and proper location etc is also not always available.

PTDC is expensive usually than other available options in GB so look for other hotels where available (if budget saving is main concern). Sost PTDC alternative is Gulmit continental in Gulmit. Will also cut of return time next day.

Save money.. Stay at Karimabad.. Eagles nest is too expensive. Make a day trip to Duikar which will take only a couple of hours from Karimabad.. ideal is sunset.

In Gilgit, there are many road side hotels including Park Hotel & Shaheen Hotel both in Kashrote area.. both are good and economical. Another couple of these are Ramzan Hotel and Jamal Hotel in Kashrote but they aren't as good. A more cheaper is North Inn near Khomar Chowk. I once stayed there for 700 per night

Sir when u would have rented 4?4 vehicle along with u then u must have to utilise it more & more & there is no issue in taking ur vehicle up to the lakes in Nalter.

Aap ke pas to 4x4 hogi.. No problem for it to cross Babusar Pass. Road is excellent now. Damaged at some places due to landslides.. apart from that newly carpeted road and work is also in progress on some patches.

Traveling - Plan is to hire Hi-Roof from Lhr-Lhr
- Please advice if any one have good economical contact to book a hi-roof
- suggest any alternative Rates are 5000-6000 and driver ka khana pena Stay sb ap ka and you know what is the avg of fuel for ac-hi roof.

For camping rama is very good place.

Day 3 Night @ Eagle Nest Hotel Duikar | Is it good or have any other option ? bhai g 5000 per room start hai very expensive hai ye.3000 wala b hai but wo rhny k qabil nhi.

I don't think women in your group will agree on self cook.Take noddles,tea bags,specially Soup packets etc with you if they agree and packed food will cost you 300/packet and 1 packet 2 log kha jaty hain agr tunan tuani na kro .
Expected Expense:
Traveling - Transport & Fuel: Van-45000, Fuel-25000(4 Tank), Lake Crossing-6000
Hotels / Night stays: 35000

Food & Others: 20000
20000/9=2222 per day for 14 people for Breakfast,lunch,dinner tea etc:o how?
This cost should be atleast 5000 per day.

Total: 1,30,000/- Aprox.

(This is my rough idea, please tell me if it will be less than this or how can we reduce)
