H2SO4 is Acid while MgSO4 is a salt. More acid deteriorate the lead plates of battery, that is why mgso4 is added to sulfate the battery.

Epsom Salt (MgSO4) can easily be purchased from veterinary medical store. And distilled water in urdu is " kasheed shuda pani".

Now battery shop guys will again need its translation in English

Oh my GOD ! 70 per liter is tooooooooooo high intay main to PEPSI/COKE aa jati hay bhaai. bhaai go to any chemical (Science /lab shop from where normally school/colleges take stuffs) they will have epsom salt at very cheap price. if me not wrong 40/50 per kg. and from same place you can distilled and de ionized water just only for 10/12 per liter and 20/25 per liter respectively. and in islamabd there are some water companies who also provided both water at a very low price tag but i think 20liter is minium pack to buy.

100 % reliable bhaai . wat about reliability of the Rs 70/liter water taken from shops in exide or ags bottle, that could be a plain water in some branded labeled bottle, sticker hi to lagana hay. (jahnan branded live saving medicine pack hun wahan pani kya masla ha ), However to my opinion and experience its fine.

Brother plz help me also as I am in great trouble. I am using 165 phoenix battery. Bought it 9 months before. It's backup reduces from an hour to 40 50 minutes and I consult a stupid technician to check what's the problem. He said I have to change its connectors and did that accordingly. Now the battery Time is 10 minutes and when I ask that technician that what have u done it. He said that you need to replace ur battery. Don't know what he did and what's the solution. Because few days before I was running this battery at full load and now this is the story. Plz help me

Using Phoenix UGS battery since 2 years with my desi ups and quite satisfied with it. Backup time with 2 fans and 2-3 CFLs is 3-4 hours easily. I always use AGS distilled water and never felt any issue.
However I tune its settings myself and not from any stupid technician.

what could have made AGS 200 batteries to die within a year? this is first time it happened, as i have been using ags since 10 years and they easily last 3 years.
techincian told that plates have been disolved, but why??? what could be reason?
does this process work my batteries?
