You are changing gear oil at 5000 kms or 50000 kms ? And gl 4 75w90 can be replaced by 75w 85
As the manual says , first gear oil change will be done @ 5000 km.
Gear oil at 5000 kms is weird just changed my corolla's gear oil at 40000 kms as per the manual
Suzuki likes to take whatever advantage it can have, so living in pakistan, do as the pak suzuki do
Suzuki change first gear oil at 5000.they will use their SGO gear oil which is not multigrade. They have only 75w. Where as manual says it should be 75w90. Also Suzuki gear oil is very thick. You will feel the gear hard specially in low gear
I initially used Suzuki gear oil at 5000 km for my swift. But changed to liqui Moly synthetic gear oil at 10000 kms. Gear is buttery smooth now
It requires 2.3 L. You have to buy 3 bottles each of 1 litter. Do not use only 2 L oil.

Hello I recently bought 2013 automatic swift abd was thinking to replace gear oil in it.its 73000 km run till yet.the confusion I have iss transmission oil different from ATF oil or they are both replaced in automatic car?the viscosity ratimg 75 w 90 is not as such mentioned in ATF packs. I hv used manual car in past .thanks
