That is correct. Although I would like to add something; in my opinion or atleast from what I've experienced after working closely on three different glass coated cars is that the swirls are far easier to remove than compared to an unprotected paint surface. This could be because the swirls are installed on the nano coating rather than the clear coat. Usually it only requires a finishing polish and a polishing pad to make the paint completely swirl free.

I personally like to wax cars, I am kind of OCD when it comes to cleanliness and sparkling cars, I have more products at home than a detailing studio and new waxes keep coming and I keep trying

Currently toying with the idea of getting Cquartz finest and I will be getting it at dirt cheap rate compared to what market is charging for glass coatings. I am amazed at the margin these retailers are charging regular customers.

Exactly, i got original c-quartz coating from UK, cost 6000 only. Now add labor and check that how much these so called experts are getting profit from customers...

Yes I have 4 glass coated cars at home. And they are in no better shape than the ones which aren't glass coated.

Glass coating and ceramic coating. You can get upto 8 layers of ceramic coating but max recommend layers of glass coating is 2 because its thick. From my personal experience we have ceramic 4 coats on civic and 2 coats of glass on Altis. The benefit is that nothing sticks on the paint you easily remove bird dropping without leaving a stain in the paint as the corrola is black. Swirls will come no matter what but they can be easily removed as the compound will cut a layer of the coating rather than your clear coat. YOU dont need any polishes or waxes on these coating as they repell water ,waxes and glazes. If you want extra shine you can get a coating filler and jeweling effect agent from carpro its called essence plus. You have to use carpeo relod pray which has silicone in it that tops up the coating once a month or max twice a month if you wash ur car 2 times a week to keep the repelling effect strong .the spray is used on all coated surfaces which means on the windshield and all other surfaces. I live on the canal and when it was being extended the civic which is white got tar splashes on the bottom which were easily removed by just a swipe of mf wash mitten.while we also have a white wagon r on which the tar stuck to the paint and well its still there.

Get glass coating done on a darker color and ceramic on a light colored car. Ceramic is expensive glass coati ng cheaper.max life is 2 to 2.5 years max in Pakistani environment. I would recommend you get it done from ahmad yar at luxeauto spa .they are the cheapest and the most experienced one out there in lahore.i hope this information helps.
