ali bhai i didnt knew that you have this one as well... this is a jin baba project
brother,,, not required by traffic rta......... I just pasted for warning,,,,, as you see back tail red lights are very small as compared to the vehicle..
and...yes it is in plan that bodywork with new paint color red and interior restoration too.
Interesting Project Bro - Will it be a pure stock restoration or modifications / up gradations are also on your cards other than conversion of 4wd?
This is THE REAL BEAST TRUCK!! i really like this station wagon. I would love to keep & make one, but parts are major issue in Pakistan. There are few people in Karachi driving this model 2 door mainly. Believe me They look BEAST on the road. It was on a signal stop beisdes new Land Cruiser V8 , & 1 prado, both of them were looking too small & chinky against Suburban & i don't know what kinda' Super Engine that guy had installed, it ran away like KING KONG. & Everyone was like WTF !!?? LOLZ..
This American Beasts needs to be in the REAL Master's HAND, with REAL Skills who can give it REAL Respect n Honor.for ideas to pimp it, Here are some example pics for you:
what a great project. i owned one of these a long long time ago. I had a 1986 model. The head lights were a bit different from this one.Might i make a suggestion? This would be tons of fun if converted into a 'dalla style' truck. just an idea. this thing has such great road presence, you can really go all the way with this.just my 2 cents.
I would second @alijees bro - the rear cabin needs to be chopped off to get a real monster out of it with atleast 37s
Thanks for Kind word & i appreciate your suggestions and it will be one red color without strips,,,,,,
for the quality of paint work, the painter which i hire, he is from philippine and he has good working experience in Past in the agencies of Ferrari Cars, SAAB Cars and Citroen Cars, and which workshop we are painting this GMC is former workshop of Citroen agency.
front grill is already arranged and will be painted in black color.
idea about 4x4....... complicated and costly too.
Ha Ha Ha ......i don't know how to change the thread name,,,,,,, please tell,,,, i will change the thread name,,,,,,,,,
{GMC Suburban The Jin Baba Project }
it will be repainted, with interior work, some modification on wheels i am looking for little wider wheels than previous.
Thanks for kind words & appreciation, also thanks for pics of interior,,,,,
and i agree with you during driving it's feel like king kong.

Thanks for kind words and appreciation,,,, i like your suggestion, and i wish i can do this, but we can not convert it here as "dalla style".....because
1) Saudi Government not allow any conversion which change the real shape of vehicle as factory setting.2) if it convert to dalla style i can not keep this vehicle on my name:'( ,,,,,it has to sale or to transfer to the name of any Saudi national. because here we can own only passenger vehicles, any commercial vehicle we can not buy.
Thanks..........
Some more pics after 2 days
Hmmm..!The idea of wider tyre is good. U must go for wider tyres because new converted to 4x4 will challenge every car on road for few starting days. , so for better road grip and looks also u must go for wider tyres and rims also.
Any mood for lowering the ride.? I think that will also look gud.

I love its engine sound :*
following material is being used
Sir I just see a lot of filler but I don't see the rusted areas being cleaned with a grinder and patchwork being done properly on the affected areas. This approach will just cover up the areas and rust will continue to spread, also if the panel gets a slight knock during driving the filler will crumble out and leave nasty holes, it would be advisable to remove the existing paint and do proper patchwork with a matching gauge metal sheet, if not then you would get a lot of bubbles and eventual crumbling of the treated areas.
