Its hard to find. And you will have to travel to the north. There are people in Azad Kashmir who can still get smuggled cars from afghanistan. Get a smuggled bike 4m there and take out its engine. BTW your casis looks very weak, not strong enuf to carry a heavy bike engine. You need reinforcements.

fast&future, kido good luck with the project and I am proud to know that a pakistani kid like you is engaged in projects like this. Wish there were more kids like you especially in Pakistan.

go for a small lawn mawer engine. I am not sure whether you can get some lawn mawers in Karachi. Is there a scrap yard in Karachi of used car parts? maybe you might find something there.

let me know if you are coming to Islamabad, I will be more then happy to show you my project. its not a go-kart but an offroad buggy which I made myself.

It is similiar to your project however it is much bigger and with a real engine in it.

Excellent project - I did one when I was about your age. The engine was adopted from a generator engine (peter) the primary drive was linked with a centrifugal clutch. I would recommend a scooty engine with built in centrifugal clutch and starter motor to avoid a kick start. But I understand you have a donor bike.

Mine did not have any shock absorbers - the steering assembly was more hand made mounted on the frame using king pins. The mechanical brakes only worked on the rear tire and I found a way to attach an interlocking lever to act as a hand brake while the kart was parked.

its was long time ago - I can only put together a sketch from the little memory I have - It was made back in 1985 and remained in used until 1987 when my friend's younger brother took it away!

you can use a peter engine of 4hp ,8hp or 12hp engine

i have a 2hp engine but it is too slow

nice project der since it is a go kart u dont have much work der im sure when u can build the frame the rest is childs play u dont need to register this thing parts can be easily accesible in the ranch line for motorcycle scraps you will find a few scraped go karts n stuff at very cheap prices other stuff youll need to modify

becoz they are cheap whole bike cost abut 12000
