i cant see any shock absorber, spring any thing, without these its gona be very tough on joints, wield, bearing etc

@ a_k: i know dude...

but these GO KARTS arnt suppose to have the shocks n stuff as these supposed to be driven on special tracks and if you look at the original design there is no provision of those aswell..

what we have done is that we have tried to make the joints and other joints reliable by reinforced welding...

dude wht i did was; i went to scrapyard and bought a number of compnents from a quad bike... the front steering parts, the rare axle parts, breaking system, engine, tyres, silencer, break cylinder and etc etc...

the front steering compnents had to be redesigned and modified according to our requirements but it will give you and your mechanic a very good idea how to go abt it...!!

Really Appreciate your efforts,
One question, sterring is in middle, where the driver seat will be as engine is on the right hand of driver, it seems tight fit for seat , steering, paddles? what is the lay out ?

Vikings: the approx. cost the whole thing will be between 35 to 40k. depending on the parts that are available from the junkyard... it could go up but minimum is whts stated above.

a_k: thanks...!! the steering is exactly as per the specifications given in the design plan of the go kart, you can see the layout on the first page of this thread..!!

we have tried to follow all the exact specifications, but some were had to be modified coz of the parts etc..!!

as per latest updates.. the sear and steering system is ready...

Engine is now also in starting position...

i might get the first test drive on this by max. thursday... Lets Hope..!!

i have all the details that is required to complete this thing... but as u know u'll have to modify..!!
