Since the car is completely controlled by censors driven by ECU, sometimes it happens that any of the censor is malfunctioning, resulting in high fuel consumption! Resetting the ECU doesnt cost a paisa, but sometimes refreshes all the censors, any mismatch is rectified.
This happened with previous corolla, the air intake censor was giving error when scanned, during driving pick was dead low, my mechanic did nothing, just reset the ECU, the problem was solved within a minute.
