Good CNG pumps in your city

I always try to refill my car from TM CNG. It is near Khana Pul. If you are driving on Islamabad ExpressWay, going from Faizabad towards Khana Pul, then after passing Zia Masjid, you can see TM CNG on your left. This CNG gives very good mileage and the pick of the car is also good.

my 2007 Gli gives me 215kms per 600 rupees of filling (60 kg cylinder)

Sir,
I wish to correct a misguided idea in minds of lot of people.
You mention in your post "as people mix air into CNG" . Let me assure you that technically this is impossible.
The gas pipeline coming into a CNG station from SNGPL or SSGPL is a high pressure line, this pipe goes into the CNG compressor, where its further compressed upto 250 bars pressure. This high pressure gas is stored in the storage cylinders. From their it goes to the dispensers, and then into your car. The maximum filling pressure at dispenser is 200 bars.
The issues or problems at times faced by CNG users can be the following :
a. The number of customers at a station is high, so gas does not remains for long into storage cylinders. Please note that the compressed gas is hot, and the heated gas takes more volume inside your vehicle cylinder. It means that you will get less gas filled into your car if the temperature of gas is high.
b. Unclean filters. The compressed gas has some content of oil. If the filters of a CNG station are not regularly cleaned, then oil travels with CNG to your vehicle cylinder. In this case due to oil collecting in your cylinder, lesser space is left for filling gas.
c. Chemical composition and GCV <GAS value="" caloric="">varies from region to region. In Pakistan, the gas supplied to everybody in the area from Jhelum to Peshawar has higher GCV, than the has supplied between Multan to Jhelum. Lesser GCV means your vehicle or kitchen stove or geyser will need more gas to produce the same energy.

i am no cng expert bt the thing remains that
1. engines get ruined by bad cng, or the people are deprived of their money by filling some s***t into the cng cylinder, oil into cng cylinder is one of the examples of impurities, bad cng is another!

1. I get cng filled from different cng stations and i would love to refill again and again from those cng stations that gives me a high mileage or better acceleration!

2. As you ve mentioned that same gas is supplied in the northern region but you get good result from some cng stations while the others are consistenly notorious!

By The Way people can also mention their average though it depends on other factors too.

I have a cultus december 2005 with 50 kg cylinder.

Car's average in winter is 210-225(local)

Car's Average in Summer is 165-185(local)

yup bro Ac consumes lotto cng!

my points are :
a. The quality / composition of gas cannot be changed by a cng station. All a cng station can do is to compress it upto required standard, less than standard or higher than standard.
b. Remove the impurities coming with the gas through main gas pipelne or do not remove them.
c. Store enough gas before dispensers, so that users get cooler gas or have lesser storage thus higher temperature gas.

Regarding my first post in 1917 days.. yeah you are absolutely correct in this respect. Reason is I had forgotten about this website and my registration. I just found it again by chance.

Anyway, I start liking this forum. Its a decent and tolerant place to discuss different point of views. We all can have varied points of view. But these are discussed in neat and patient manner, and much better than some other places having lots of intolerant and impatient people.

Good work is being done here by all the senior contributors.

Gareebabad just before lalokhait 10number PSO pump rate of per kg is rs.49.00 cooled pressure almost 220 to 230 !!

I have a couple of very bad experiences of the cng opposite mobilink office, college road.They looks to me fruad.
No discount,No proper milage.

bro, i was in karachi 2 years ago, now i am in Islamabad or visiting Rawalakot Azad kashmir frequently.
