UD70 is their cash cow..... and the 70cc consumer needs a no frill and affordable bike. Adding alloys and other features will hurt their cost and they have to increase prices.
I think they might come up with a deluxe version like the superstar...... dont expect a self start and alloys though...... you might get a digital meter which lags behind...... and a out of proportion head light. Everything new on it looks like a after thought and honestly speaking it is.
