Good schools in karachi

i ve studied from Saint Michael too ,
and i wouldn't recommend even my enemy's kids , to drop them there.

yes there was a time when this school had a standard , but NOW , its gone , it no more there.

BOYS and GIRLS cannot interact or talk , while being in the same school
can you believe it

plus a lot of newly added list of stupid rules is doing nothing but killing the confidence among the students.

and just tell me , which sane school coordinator if catches an x rated movie from a student , calls his parents , and makes them actually WATCH IT in front of their KID.

Well recently i am done with my sons Admission in Class 1 during the process i found that most of the parents have set their priority in the following Order BVS St PAtricks St Pauls St Micheal i have also kept and even paid the admission Fee for Habib Boys as well. It is sad though when it comes to think about a school and you are left with few names . Like some one Mentioned that getting admissions in these Schools is Already a Real Tough Work for Both Parents and the Kid,even getting the admission Form is itself like winning a Battle,Imagine Standing outside the School Door for well Over 24 Hours! But these schools do worth every bit of the effort made.Alhamdolilah my Son got admitted in BVS after a very Long waiting and nerve breaking Process.

Now as in your case first thing first is it a Girl or a Boy ? which class you looking to get him/her admitted in ? The new session has been already started thus it is nearly impossible to get admission in any reputed school only those will take who needs more pupils means more money .The only name i think of in near about locality for you is Generation in North Nazimabad which also has closed their admissions few weeks ago therefore you are left with i guess only Beaconhouse which not the Sharpest tool in the shed but better than many !

BTW, does anyone know anything about about Springfield? It's supposed to be near Karsaz / KDA Scheme-1.

y dnt u opt of Montessori complex at 13-D gulshan, its a nice school and not to far from ur place!

i have graduated from saint Michale's too

but more like 9 years back.
and i know what it was used to be at that time , and what is going on there right now. KEVIN has left , and that irfan *** is still sucking student blood.

i can clearly see what kinda student graduated at our time , and most of the graduated now are pure sissys with no self-confidence ( most ) many of my cousins are still studying there.

anyways , i don't object on the x-rated movie punishment part.

but making the student watch it in front of his parents is SERIOUSLY ABOVE ME.

i have been a student both at saint micheals and springfeild. my son had passed for foundation and springfeild yet im forgoing both . im not impressed with springfeild and foundation darakshan is too far off
he still has one more year in his montessori so i need to make a move by next year. i found out that foundation has a primary branch near patel hospital was just wondering if there will be any standard difference between their darakshan branch and the gulshan campus.
law and order situation is getting hay wire by the day and gulshan is a target every now and then however no place is safe

I will not recommend Reflections school to anyone, saying this from experience.

Generations School, Montessori Complex are good options but depends on your requirements and location. In my opinion, its better to have children studying in a school near your residence considering the law and order situation in Karachi.

The Lyceum is only an a-level school. No primary/kg etc there

please count out bvs... its for boys.... u need Mama parsi... their girls chapter. fees is around 3000 per month
Kgs im not sure but i think its 7000 per month
LYCIUM is probably much higher
Karachi american school is way way more expensive.

top choices would be
1-convent of jesus and marie
2-mama parsi
3-Kgs
4-cas
5-foundation

I am assuming you are a resident of dha. If not then pls ensure you have adequate travelling measures for your child. Also please send her to a nice montisorri. You will have to put in an extra effort and time on her preparation for the admission test. Also do not rely wholly on tutions.

Sit for atlast 2 hours with your child daily , make mock tests for them , time them , interview them. competition is tough and a lil effort and prayer can help you win top slot.

My son goes to World Academy its near Mohatta Palace, the lady who runs it is Mrs Salma Aziz, she ran Convent Of Jesus & Marry for good 10 something years, we are very very happy with the decision and will be putting our daughter in the same school too.

guys now the decision is between BVS and St Pats. which to opt for. My son has been selected by both schools ALHUMDULILLAH.

Pats is still the un desputed king for a levels where as bvs has recently started olevels.
Bvs has bigger brand equity though Pats is not that far behind.

Sorry meant Rs. 10,000 per month. Also you can check out Springfield in KDA Scheme-1 or so. Their fees were also about Rs. 10,000 two years back. Excellent school.
