Excellent landscape and pictures... Maybe one would enjoy this trip more while visiting in winter (due to heat).
Also what is the distance between this place and Dadu/Indus Highway?

the place is perfect for visit in the winters or probably if we would have been their couple of weeks earlier.

the travel time between Dadu and base of Gorakh hill (wahi) is about 1hr 30mins and base to the top is 2hr and 1hr 30mins for down journey

it's very safe to travel in the day time, if you are coming from khi the best plan would be start with the first light and try and reach Wahi in the afternoon afterwords one can spend the night at Gorakh hill and come back the next morning:)

A very nice coverage of your trip. Is it possible to stay on top of the hill? And most important is it safe? Road conditions seem ok. And do you need a jeep to reach the top or is a car able to do it? Thanks all the same:)

Yes their are two to three places where you can stay on Gorakh hill
It is very safe if you travel during the day and stay at Gorakh hill in the night
Road conditions are worse, from Sewan to Dadu and then onwards to Wahi though you will require a 4x4 to the top as their are some places from Wahi to Gorakh top which cannot be covered by car:)

Well it was a great trip and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed hill station ,steep hikes, lush green fields, lake,flowers in bloom,air conditioned cave, sands and desert, so much veriety and colours in this short trip.Most of all colours of hospitality which is indeed a crown of our culture. There are also some historical places like Ranikot fort,Lal Shahbaz Qalander shrine,ruins of a lost city upside down,Khuda Abad historical masjid. but you must have sufficient time to enjoy all that.

If someone wants to visit Gorakh hill it is advisible to leave Karachi early morning.Enjoy the route and places enroute.Reach Dadu or Gorakh hill by evening.you can spend the night at Dadu and leave early morning for Gorakh hill.Or you can go straight to Gorakh hill and stay there for night.Enjoy there till afternoon and then moveback to Karachi. But keep 2 things in mind. No water and no electricity up there.you have to take water and food stuff from Dadu or Johi. Wahi will be the last town and you will get nothing afterwards.So be careful.
