Not smooth enough,, you need more frames.. in 7frames... it so sooo .. atleast 20frames for a smooth Gif.

normal moveies we shoot with handycams is at 30fps
comercial movies are made at 25 fps
our mobiles usually shoot 15fps
for internet, .gif, 10fps are enough smooth.

Thank You all. I am using Adobe Photoshop 7.0 to make these. By the way I also create animations in Flash 5.0. Well if I make a long GIF file then it will be difficult for me to upload it.

i didnt say fps..
if 10fps is gud for gif then dude this gif wont be even a second long :d..

well look at this one for e.g .
the whole gif is been made up of 15pics and been run on more than 10fps.

And for gif stuff and photochopping we guys have our own Expert Jaan99 bhai.

i wasnt correcting u, just gave some figures

hollywood movies, bollywood movies use 25 progressive fps for cinematic effect. it gives much more continuous effect as compared to over sharped handycam effect.

well, you are right, that commercial films are been made at 25fps. Slight differ in the NTSC and PAL formats may be 3 or 4frames.. Well they do also use mega-mo s too for any aspiring scene... As far as handy cams are concerned they do have low apperture and capturing rate of 30 to 60fps.. (which make them a bit sluggish)

i dont think NTSC and PAL differ in fps
its the number of horizontal lines, ntsc has 480, pal has 5xx something.

by low apperture, u mean small/slow aperture
