Lol , private sector is your only way to go if you are a growth oriented person , in a halal way .

Only thing is bootlicking , that can even be avoided if you present exceptional merits .

there's private companies involved in frauds and illegal/unlawful/dishonest practices etc as well...

and there are some departments that are still working on merit and reasonably efficiently.

yes that is absolutely the case i do not reject your statement ,

but atleast be WISE enough to understand the fact , that the ratio is MUCH lesser in private companies .

the corruption culture might exist , in the upper groups and lobbies , but among the lower working hierarchy , corruption is not there , as an OPEN culture.

or tell me if the case is otherwise ?

The pvt concerns use other methods to get projects from govt organizations money is a part of other methods.

There are terms of sheared kick backs prevailing in market where the looting is enjoyed between offerer and acceptor. With mutual concern.

It is not at low grounds but when you grow in the pvt organization you can smell the rot it in the upper ends.

baaki chahay government sector ho ya private sector, upper level ho ya at lower level...a small portion aside, thumping majority is haraam-khor.
just for example:
check the honesty of Pakistan Automobile Industry...from top to bottom....go through the tech forums here on PW and find out details about them and you will enjoy how at every level they loot. They even are ready to trade their souls to Lucifer for a mere one liter of petrol. (one mechanic tried to steal one liter petrol from my car at a Hyundai Workshop).
Check the " battery mafia" of Exide, AGS, VOLTA, Phoenix etc.
Corporate culture main aagay jaanay k liey jis kism ki bootlicking aur females ko jis kism ki "compromises" karni parrti hain, cannot be mentioned here. After all there is much more to corruption than mere financial corruption. Moral corruption is more serious yet hard to detect and measure.

However, no civilized society can beat Pakistan in the QUALITY of corruption. We have developed corruption into an ART....rather into an institution. Fake degrees, fake certification, fake advertisements, fake tenders, fake bids, fake invoices, fake accounts, fake tax returns, and the list goes on and on. We are the Mercedes Benz of corruption. All in all yes - all govt jobs are filled in by high merit - honest to God, down to earth regular people who work hard for a lot less money than anyone else. I believe you will blame some alien or voodoo entity or deity for Pakistan's demise.

Brother its not so in every dept what you are saying,bomb blasts have and internal situation has nothing do with military,its job of ministry of interior not ministry of defence. if u say so that y then military intrude in political matters of country then see your self the price hike and every thing being done in regime of civil government. i dont advocate military rule but as a nation we all are dead,why we choose to vote corrupt people,its our fault and the result we get in shape of present government.In CSS ,military and many government organizations like nescom,awc ,nc etc selection is purely on merit basis,some odd cases may be there.u saying invasions by terrorists ,u dont know present scenario at borders,they r all foreign agencies planted and war on terrorism have got many dimensions.bottom line is we are beggars,we keep on asking for foreign aids and that go in pockets of our corrupt politicians and beggars cant raise an eye on those from whom we beg.i hope u got my point.in media its not shown daily so many soldiers lay their lives and leave their families orphans,and top brass in military just dont enjoy being bosses only.they have spent all their lives in this career and they are paid because of their experience and to take decisions with their foresightedness.Be a part of some organization like this then ull know the facts better,i dont say that there is no one bad in this military setup,but that is like salt in flour,coz military hasnt come from another world ,its from the public of pakistan and we must admit that as a nation we are uneducated

I have seen and buried mutilated remains of my freinds, extended family and loved ones and have felt the angry pain of it in many such attacks in Karachi. I want to thank our entire defense, military and intelligensia who could not and still cannot stop any such activity that is borne by aliens.

if you are claiming that other intelligence agencies are giving a tough time to Pakistan, its not my headache if Pakistan's has not progressed like them. My tax money is paid to them for their job which is National security and Pakistan is a free country, no one forced anyone into the military to get shot, they could go find some other job if this one is "too much" for them.

btw - this thread was the advantages of private and govt jobs, Looking it anyway under any light - Pakistani govt jobs are the ultimate "susst" jobs that you can get.. No need to even show up to work - you will still get paid your salary and the "gifts" to get work done will be about 5 times your salary. - WIN WIN - for free money.
