So wait for another marathon trip log after Eid inshallah
Insha Allah. Best of luck dear. Will try to upload further pics tonight as per ur FARMAISH.
Lets continue the party. After having our matches & my Nanga Parbat photoshoot, we made a plan of mutton Bar B Q. For this purpose we contacted local villagers but of no use. We requested our hotel manager & he arranged one for us (although a bit costlier, Rs.6000/- for chota sa bakra). We got half part of it fried as salan & half was meiranated & later on put on fire. We tried out best k wo gal jae but it refused & later on we eat it half cooked :(. But it was fun to make mutton B B Q :). After all this, we slept with our alarms turned on to get up early in the morning as we had a long travelling day plan. So slept tight & got up early in the morning, (although not as early as we anticipated). Got our bags ready, finalised our dues with hotal manager (with heavy food bill mostly bcz of chappatis) & left Fairy Meadows. Had adventurous trek & jeep ride & reached Raikot somewhere in afternoon. Our jeep (tht we booked for the remaining whole tour) was waiting there for us. We handed over all our bags to jeep driver, he packed lugage & we were ready to depart. Here is a pic of our jeep with our luggage.
Our next destination was Astore. For Astore we travelled on a little further on KKH & then took a right turn slight before Jagloot bridge. Astore road is in pretty good condition & gives spectacular views. As we were already late, we did not stay in between so i could hardly made a couple of snaps tht m sharing.
A breathtaking view near Astore.
nice trip dude
shahabz bhai kitny din main ap nay ye trip complete kia or per had kitna laga ap logon ka ?
Dear welcome back (as u are GHAIB frm PW since quite a long). Dear it took 10 days & cost was aroung 12000/- per head.
We reached Astore in the evening & imediately booked 2 rooms in Kamran Hotel @ Rs1100/-(both). Next morning after making & taking our breakfast, we left for Rama Valley & Rama Lake. Its a beautiful trek tht starts frm Astore & ends on Rama Lake (passes through very beautiful Rama Valley tht we visited on our way back frm lake).
Here are pics of trek (around starting point, Asotre)
Its around 40 mins jeep trek frm Astore to lake. But trek was blocked near lake bcz of a large glacier (shown below), so we had to walk for around 20 mins.
Trek is very beautiful & gives spectacular views
When we reached lake there was a surprise for us. There was a small bonus lake. Actually it was not a lake. The water outlet of Rama lake was such tht it was wide open creating a small pond. But the real thing was tht it was giving such a classy reflection tht i could not stop my fingures.
First look of lake
Lake itself (unfortunately was able to make only a few pics as it started raining & we had to run back frm lake)
we also played a match, but lost by merely 8 runs,
v did the same trek last month, from donga gali, to mukshpuri, and shangrilla....
in da pics, two kids are my sons, and two are my younger bros, and one is 6 month old baby girl, or my younger bro.....
Raheel Bhai yesterday I again did this trek (Mushkpuri). Last time I did it in Snow. Its one of my favorite (one day) trek & is really very beautiful. Will share pics soon in seperate thread Insha Allah.
why chapati was expensive?
Babar sb 1 chappati costs u Rs.40/- at FM & an ordinary person requires atleast 3 chappatis for one meal, se per person chappati costs Rs.120/- each time. We had our own salan so chappati was the only major food cost.
