I have searched everywhere in Pakistan for "3M Silicone Grease" and failed. I even had a word with 3M importer which is Karachi based. He said the product is not in demand for Pakistan market.
However, "Revol/Voler Silicone Grease" is available for Rs.1600/- (400g) in Saddar Baou Mohalla Rawalpindi. I sent an email to the manufacturer regarding its use for brake caliper pins and to be used an dielectric grease. As per the manufacturer, its perfect for the mentioned purpose.

sloan lubes sell a 400 gram tin of silicone grease - Its locally packed in Pakistan, harris sell a silicone grease called O ring lube.

All are pretty much the same greases, unless you get into krytox category - but that will cost you 10 times more for a tiny tube.

That's right. "Molykote 111" (150g) is for Rs.2400/- available in Lahore. Adenwalla in Karachi is selling "Revol/Voler Silicone Grease" (400g) for Rs.1200/-. The cheapest I've been able to find in imported category (manufactured & packed).

Sir,
Can we use Ed 40 silicone lube spray on calliper pins if one does not have silicone grease?
And can we use silicon lube or white lithium grease or wd 40 on spark plugs threads,or there is no need for any thing?

Wd40 silicone lube nope get yoirrself some harris o ring grease its like 250 rs for 85 gsm tube got some recentely works good and you dont need much.

As for the spark plug threads mostly nothing is applied as they are said to be coated and have seen ngk mention that not to apply any lube to the threads .

No prob happy to be of help. But another thing why dont you get a 3m silicone grease or permatex caliper grease from abroad via any frimd or relative

If from usa, buy superlube silicone paste with ptfe,

Excellent product and cheap too.

Thanks sir. I already got the 3m silicone paste will look into superlube. Sir could you let ke know which grease to use on c200 brakes on the pad ears etc

on fixed type calipers, you use a moly or copper antisieze, on floating calipers you can use a teflon grease, the floating calipers ear clips are SS and provide pretty decent smooth surface on their own.

Make sure to grease the shims though as they are the actual noise (squeal) dampeners on both kinds of calipers.

this is very elusive. castrol red rubber grease (europe) and silglyde (USA) are the same stuff. Tons cheaper too.

Thanks alot sir i narrowed down my grease selection for shims to molykote as-880n or liquimoly brake paste which would you prefer also i have experimented with lm47 on the back of shims so far it works

True. I tried looking for caltex red rubber grease locally but couldnt find . Sourced myself a bottle of 3m silicone paste some molyslip copaslip antisieze but a few days back this caught my eye particularly cause silicone paste is imo to viscous for car window channels i have tried wd 40 and other silicone aprays but not much improvement so was thinking to give the toyota grease the last shot as currentely cant wait to get other options from abroad what do you think sir does going with toyota repackaged grease will it serve better as lube for window channels

I use a moly antisieze that holds 60% of moly solids, its black as death and it good for about 1500C too.

The rubber grease can be sourced from outside Pakistan easily. If you have relatives/freinds in USA ask them to buy a tube of NAPA silglyde - its about 8 dollars only and is a LOT of lube.

I personally use rubber grease for assembly only and use silicone grease for servicing the guidepins. etc. silicone grease is literally waterproof.
