Ok. I need ur suggestions regarding two things. Call it a test of sorts. I need to have a 1.25 cu ft sealed enclosure and have to install three amplifierd and one processor. And i need space in the trunk to keep my kid's stuff during travelling. I have following ideas..

For sub, i will either use a fiberglass enclosure on a side (easy) or mount it on rear parcel shelf (hard). For second option, i need ideas on how to manage it in an aestheticbway and save space.

For amps n deq, i m thinking of using an am rack behind the seat or a false floor or a extendable drawer hanging from the rear parcel shelf. I need suggestion for the layout which saves me most area.

So people... Start suggesting/posting pics.

Sir if you mount sub on rear shelf than how about the bass response will it be as good as of enclosure ? secondly there must be reflection from rear screen... since you are an expert of DIY i would suggest you to build something like that as given in pictures attached

Sir pioneer stage 4 might be awesome but could only be sourced from abroad and it will be costly too.... you can also check pioneer ts-c720prs i have read some really good reviews about these components since you are using 1720 you could imagine the sonic characteristics plus improvement in sq will be there tooo but again that would be two way....

i have considered the examples u have given but they dont serve the goal i.e. Maximize the usable trunk space. I dont hink subwoofer frequencies wouldbbe that much effected by reflection, i think only the high have that problem. Or there might be a gain but well thats why i have thrown this suggestion out here.

I want to go three way active cos i want mire control on sound and get a better overall result. Have been reading up a lot on different sites and lets see what happens

In either of the pics u posted, removing the spare tire would be a problem.

a sub enclosure utilizing the spare wheel well? that is if the spare wheel is mounted with the rim facing down...

the sub enclosure hanging from the rear deck into the trunk space with an opening into the cabin...

i think your current amp placement on a board behind rear seat is best for the two/ three amps and the deq. or you could place one of the smaller amps under seat and the remaining two on the board.

Not in the first one sir.. i really like the way setup has been placed in pic1. plus you can always chose to make a fibre based box enclosure type thing to run it in sealed setup, even though its placed in the rear tray..

The enclosure inthe rim is not feasible as i have a 14" rim, not the 17 or even 20 that ppl abroad usually have so that means i wont be able to get the full volume of the enclosure. Also i would need 8 or 10" subs for a proper sized enclosure which are not available locally.

If i mount em from the inside, like u have prolley seen yourself or in the sale thread, i can only put two things there or fit a third with difficuclty. If i put the board in from trunk size, it would take up too much space. So back to square one.

First pic design will need to have center section separate from the wings and be on hinges so it can be lifted. Would require building a platform inside the car to keep everything even

Mount two behind seat and one under? Deq could go under seat...

That custom fiberglass enclosure idea is also good. It would keep the sub tucked away nicely on one side of the trunk. How much enclosure volume are you aiming for?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................................................. what abt place the sub in the right corner, in a fiber made custom enclosure.. and fixing it there with some steel rods bolted in cross.. to the other end of trunk.. umm i'm not good with microsft paint, but lemme see what cartoon i can come up with.. lol..
