Mr. Fayyaz Khan Durrani yet another vintage/classic car enthusiast would be joining in the meet with his 56 Chevy Bel Air as confirmed by him via telecom.

Trying to pile more cars up. Please call in all your Vintage/4x4/Latest cars and biker friends and bring them home with their ride. Let Multan be presented and heard as a city of precious auto heritage.

@thekhanlala, you can update the OP and add my name as Social Media Coordinator, I would be happy to coordinate the event.

Furthermore, I am trying to bring in sponsorship from Pepsi Cola Multan as well. Just talked to their Marketing Services Manager and they are willing to sponsor the event, details are being discussed, so would update as soon as something materializes.

Ok went inviting the 4x4Engaged? memebers from BWP. Talked to Faiz Abbasi/BWP the man behind the Derwar Fort/Cholistan 4x4 Desert Rally at the BWP level. They are pretty inclined to show up with all their crawlers but its unfortunate that they've already arranged a Derawar Fort Rally on 17th & 18th of December so they cant join in unless we shift/delay the auto meet until 23rd December.

They have a huge audience and participant show down. I suggest we take them along and shift the dates to 23rd December (Sunday) coz if we dont, they wont be joining us as they would be traveling to Cholistan Desert on 16th noon so wont be coming over. And they are taking most of the Multan 4x4 enthusiasts along to their rally so if we dont shift the event to the 23rd, none of 4x4 enthusiasts from Multan would be attending either.

I strongly recommend that if we do this right, we MUST shift the auto meet to 23rd to help us show our full range of automobiles at Multan division llevel!

What do you guys say?

23rd December is also a choice. If we can get good number of members then lets do it. But we cannot extend it further because there will be Pakistan vs India cricket series from 27th Dec so people will stay at home for series. I guess 23rd is the best option.

not going any more further with the dates. but it has to be 23rd if we want a lot of cars to show up from the 4x4Engaged? club which is strongly recommended. please do not forget that at such events that are just kicking off for the first time, number of cars/participants DOES matter because it only lays down the foundation of succession/repetition of events in later years.

Its better to delay at the stage of planning than to be embarassed by low number of participants turn out on the actual day of event. just my two cents worth

Yeah I have updated it in OP status so that every member should know and possibly let us know any opinion if he has.
