Next time someone visits him, ask him to cut out the original plastic/rubber about 2mm wide where the stitches are placed, Tuck the thing into that cavity so you dont have bulge, OE leather wheels are like that.

stitches are not much neat.
1200 :ostitched steering cover cost is max. 300 rupees. 20 min job for a pro.Btw raxine price is 800 rs per meter. And they can easily make a cover from scrap/cut piece

Peheni ke nae horae bhae, Gari pe charanei ki horae hai, the plastic comonly known as Regzine and Leatherite gets really hot on the seats and the steering when the car is parked in sunlight, While Leather doesnt.
