I can roast a clutch in under 5 minutes in a brand new car.. clutch life depends on usage.

e.g. - if you hold the car with clutch on an incline rather than the brakes, you will literally burn the friction disc

i own this car from start and i never ever use excessive clutch or keep foot on clutch all the time. the longest route ever was the trip to naran from lahore. i used clutch to shift gear only at dead slow speed, never hold clutch on incline

Honda city has the worse clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, once it goes bad bang you are in deep ahoo...

Bhai but 'the forces', lol, say we should leave the clutch while coming down an incline and not use breaks as they ll burn out and cause a break fail.

Can't figure out actual problem without seeing the patient physically, it could be because of,

• A faulty clutch master cylinder can cause a hard pedal due to piston binding in the cylinder bore.
• A blocked compensation or vent port will result in a hard clutch pedal,this is usually caused by improper pedal adjustment.
• A worn out pilot / through out bearing could be result in hard clutch pedal.
• It could be because of a defective clutch and pressure plate.

Check clutch pedal free play first before doing anything.

Today i have checked slave cylinder, it was perfect. i am sure the master cylinder will also be in same condition. one more thing i want to tell experts that, it is not difficult to press clutch pedal rather difficult is to keep clutch pedal pressed (like in road jam traffic) as pedals forces backward to be in normal position. so it requires force to keep it pressed
