Harsh weather trekking

guys my prob is not related to off roading or something like that ... actually i purchased some diecast car models from china,,,shipping is by road,,,now they are stuck at any lake there due to snowfall ... the shipper says that due to snowfall the lake is frozen so its difficult that ill get them soon ... but i want my parcel very urgent and i want any guy there to help me send that parcel through any other faster way of shipping ...

yes permission is needed but rite now u need permission from snow rather than army coz i went there and no1 asked me. we also met army jawans crossing the reshian top.....

Dana from Siran side
go to Manda Gucha from there you can go to Shaddal gali and from there to Dana due to snow you cant reach there in this season and no porter will go with you
there is one other way tht is no recommended as its difficult only timber mafia use those paths ask locals once you reach Dhore

sir ji its Munda Gucha village and its the the last settelment for Musa ka Musallah trek. i have never heard of any trek from here to Danna so will not comment on that

well, after some work i did, i think i should consider Munda Gucha/ or mainda kacha village. and from there as the season is speaking, we cant attempt either dana or musa ka masalla with limited equipment. but we can enjoy the harsh weather exploring and camping there.
Might be possible i could reach up to upper summer settlements in way of mussa ka musalla.

my intentions are now towards musa ka masalla.

guide me to munda kucha village.

as far as i know by local informants, local transport is available from mansehra. or one can get jeep as well. and it is a couple of hours distance.

any updated info will be highly appreciated regarding munda kacha or munda gucha village.
its pictures if any one can share
place where one can camp
local behaviours
and such like other info that u think is required for this area.

Last month on 2nd dec we attempted musa ka musala from munda gucha side. so lovely and beautiful trek was. That was my first ever trek and asifcae is more experience in trekking and he has done this many times i think so he might help you. I have pictures of this if you use fb then you may see there.

yes u can reach munda gucha from manshera. its ahead of jabori and local transport does go there but as i didnt use it ever so cannot tel u fair and other details.

it takes about 1-1.5 hrs to reach munda gucha from manshera and is a butiful track along sirin river.........
first ull reach jacha then munda gucha which is last stop for jeeps and other transport.
u can get porters and guides from here but u will have to reach early morning to ensure that.....

now u can reach till Baki i guess in this snow.....

it will take 4-5 hrs from munda gucha in summers so in snow u can estimate the time. the trek is not that steep but long. i reached baki at midnite so dont have pics but some early morning pics are:

now if u r really lucky and more importtantly brave and mad shud i say crazy u will reach gali which is Musallah base camp. i guess there will be alot of snow there..... and ull need proper snow survival equipment.....

friends and fellows, just reached back from foul weather trekking,, and really that was amazing magnificient,

we trekked in avarage 2 feet snow and maximum of 4 feet snow, paved tracks...

that was amazing

we reached mainda kucha village that was snowbound by itself. treked to jacha village, and than crossing behki trekked on other side of musa ka musalla towards the summer setlements of MANNA. it was a very hectic route due to heavy snows.

manna was our last stop coz we have to reach back to our offices and world.
