Hi,

Has there been any discussion on haval HEV/2t (not) effectively putting down all that power on the road; resulting in excessive body roll, wheel spin and uncomfortable ride at high speed. It seems like it’s been built to be a slow moving luxury barge. Seems a waste to see all that power going to waste.

Body roll is definitely there at high speeds due to the dimensions. But I haven't had any issue with Wheelspin past launch on the HEV and haven't experienced any in the 2.0 AWD.

As for power, they can do 0-100 km/h in 7-8 secs, so I wouldn't call that sluggish for a gasoline and HEV variant, but yes some of the initial torque is wasted on the HEV because the FWD setup can't utilize it.

The Hi4 AWD PHEV apparently has sub 5-sec 0-100 km/h and with performance tires probably can make full use of that torque.

From personal experience, I haven't taken the HEV beyond 160-170 km/h because I'm not confident in it's stability like I was with my C-HR, which I was driving prior to the H6. I could comfortably go over 180 km/h on that and it would still feel planted to the road. It didn't accelerate as quickly as the H6 so it felt sluggish in that department comparatively.

At around 176 or so km/h it will start complaining about damaging the DHT (the Pre FL HEV).

Car expert reviewed the FL HEV today. The drive characteristics are about the same as pre FL. The ADAS is definitely improved as it can hold autonomous driving in the outer most lane (more or less). I guess the Pre FL with updated software will fare just the same.

What is of concern is that the HU is tilted to the left as if someone forgot that the car is RHD

There is a slight change in the PKDM variant of the FL HEV. The VSC aggressively kicks in if you floor it from low speed or from standstill and you feel a proper jolt.

@HamadDar tested it on your FL HEV and then reproduced it at the dealership on the test drive unit as well. I wonder if the AUS version has that issue or they've fixed the VSC software?

Apparently according to the local staff, Pre-FL HEV would disable VSC for a couple of seconds if you floor it and let the wheels spin instead. And that sudden jerk actually does go away if you disable VSC.

If you got the cash I guess h6 PHEV . If you got solar within city drives will be essentially all free - even if you drive 80-100km daily (which is a lot).

I agree, it has great performance, and since its phev there is no ev range anxiety and i can take on long trips unlike ridarra rd6. My only concern is that in some international youtube videos i have seen that haval h6 phev might have less under thigh support in front seats and secondly its not that agile and sharp like a civic even though it has a 4.8 sec 0 to 100 but despite these things, i still think that this is the best option for most people if they have got the money and if someone is short on cash then the simple haval h6 1.5T is one of the best options.

Also, just want to put this out there, stiff does not inherently equal sporty, in that case, the B9 Audi A4 wouldn't really show its worth at all, outside of the four rings and the B&O ofc.

German suspensions are tricky, they truly have mastered making a stiff suspension feel comfortable. At this point I have just convinced myself that they leverage the heavy nature of euro cars to their advantage. Saying stiff suspensions give a sporty feel is a gross generalisation nonetheless.

Super excited for the H6 Phev, I would actually want a stiff setup in that!

I searched a bit on internet and usually GT version came up when it comes to PHEV. I don't think they are going to lauch GT version here. Can anyone share a link of any good review of the exact version which is going to be launched here?

The version they're launching here doesn't exist anywhere. Everywhere I've checked it's either the GT PHEV or the PHEV in the older shape.

Pakistan was the first RHD market to get the regular FL and is also the first market to get the FL PHEV. Australia will be the close second which should start to see deliveries soon.

For LHD, you can find the PHEV in markets like South and Latin America.

The Aussies have a FL AWD PHEV. Thai's have a FL PHEV that is FWD (at-least that is what i gather from the specs, since there is only 1 motor). There are subtle difference between the two (no front parking sensors/ autonomous parking or reverse in the Aussie version, 4 in rear as compared to 6/6 in thai), but they are both AWD PHEV FL

I actually use auto-park quite frequently so it's definitely a deal-breaker for me as well.

These specs seem to be all over the place. The battery size on the first link is 19kwh for PHEV. On the TH link it's 27kwh.

How long did it take for you all to receive your H6 1.5T facelift? It's been exactly 2.5 months and still haven't received my car while I was promised to get it within 2 months, how was your experience?

It normally gets delivered a month after making full payment. What's your booking date and full payment date? Also which city?

Booking was done on 15th May, and payment was made on 7th July. The delay in payment was from their side as my payment was ready, but no allocation was given until 4th July.
