US Advertises EPA, which is the US standard maintained by the US Environment Protection Agency. It's mostly geared towards the US market where a large amount of commute is either on highways or interstate.
EU originally had the NEDC standard, which was adopted by most of the world but it was inadequate for modern cars so that's why WLTP test cycle was created.
Japan mostly still uses JC08 as their emissions and efficiency standard.
China has it's own CLTC cycle which is how Government of China measures efficiency and emissions. It's mostly focused on urban city driving and it's the most lenient in terms of range because traffic barely moves in Chinese urban centers.
It was standardized in 2021 and before that, China used NEDC like rest of the world, and that's the reason most models and manufacturers still quote that.
So why manufacturers are mostly quoting NEDC in Pakistan?
Because Pakistan doesn't have an official EV range estimation standard, but for efficiency, it still uses NEDC as part of the Pak-II emissions standard. And it also obviously makes the numbers more attractive.
