Yes. Same Uzair / UzEE that was managing the content side of things with Omer and Saad for a couple of years while you were also doing detailed hardware reviews back in the day.
Also, thank you for the detailed response!
I haven't been on Facebook for more than a decade so this might be a stupid question, but is it a Group or a Page? I've seen many Haval Owner groups on Facebook but most of them are just people trying to sell things.
Thankfully, I'm very used to this since I've been driving ADAS equiped cars for quite some time now. After a while, listening and reacting to all the various LCA, BSM, RCTA etc beeps and alerts becomes second nature and I can drive around without even consciously being aware of them (while still taking appropriate actions on all the alerts, of course).
I've almost always kept my AC (at least the driving side) set to Auto 24ºC all year round so it mostly never has to go full blast. That said, last time I had a PKDM car as a daily driver was almost 18 years ago so I might need to recalibrate a bit.
Not having a heat pump for the heater is a bit disappointing. They could've at least thrown in a PTC heater since they aren't that expensive either and would mean not having to deal with the engine noise all the time. I assume the other downside here would be that on cold days, heating would take some time to start since the engine needs to warm up first.
This is something I was concerned about as well after trying out the seats at the dealership as well and will likely be the hardest thing to get used to. Good thing is 95% of my commute is mostly driving from DHA to Gulberg on the weekends so I'm only going to be behind the wheels for like 30 minutes max. I take a trip to Islamabad once or twice a year and that's also like a 3-4 hour trip max.
This was the first complaint I made to the sales rep while opening the hood. It is remarkably heavy. I tried looking for replacement gas struts as soon as I got home but couldn't find any for the H6.
Sounds like the rubber pads aren't good enough. I have a similar noise from around the dome lights of my current car and it's really noticeable and annoying when the engine is off during EV mode.
I've mostly drive on RON 95 or higher for quite some time even when cars don't really call for it. Might just be placebo but I find it more efficient and somewhat better in terms of performance. I have no numbers or science to back this up however.
I actually do have a couple regarding PPF. You mentioned the lettering was a bit off which reminded me to ask if they also covered the chrome bits with a protective film afterwards? Or did they just stick it back without any protection?
Primarily asking because I don't know what is the quality level of this chrome layer. A couple of local cars at home all have their chrome badging corroded but the badges and emblems on my JDM is mostly fine.
Also, I've read a couple of posts of people saying they have Radar / ADAS warnings, specially in winter after PPF, which is likely because the PPF layer is too thick on the rear bumper where the lane tracing sensors are. Did you face any such issues?
