These are all FWD biased on-demand AWD systems and are not 24x7 AWD. That is, they power FWD first and then see if any power needs to go to rear. As opposed to RWD biased AWD systems found in german cars barring a few Audis.

Majority of these AWD Crossovers do no even have center differentials nor have diff locking controls. Almost all of them exclusively rely on traction control to apply brakes to limit wheel slip to force differential to route power to other wheel. In case of PHEV there isn't even any drive line to the rear axle. Motors at rear drive the rear wheels.

Either that, or severely be in a slippery (low traction) environment for ECM to send up to 50% of power to rear.

Same as how the 2.0T doesn't power the rear wheels all the time.

I think it's an 'always-on AWD' from what I've felt driving it over the past 2 years.

In the PW first look review AWD was a separate drive mode

Yes, this is what I meant when I said you can force it to be in AWD mode. Saw similar option in another Hi4 based car though I don't remember which was that (probably Tank 300 or 500).

GWM's Hi4 and Hi4-Z setups don't have the rear axle connected to the engine. That's only in the Hi4-T setup where the motor is actually in the transmission itself and the driveshaft connects both axles. That's only for their Off-road and Pickup range though since it compromises on battery space.

The H6 PHEV might have an electronic LSD and TVC unit since the H6GT PHEV had that from what I remember, and the new drivetrain is very similar.

Its been like 3-4 months I have not been able to source spare tyre kit for my pre facelift h6 HEV in Rwp/Islamabad
There's one dealership in Islamabad and 1 in Rawalpindi and every once in a while i'll call them to check if its in stock so i can send someone to collect them but no luck
The Rawalpindi dealership was kind enough to note down my name and number in case they get them but its been months , The Islamabad dealership from where I got the car just says since the facelift hev is coming with spare tire ,these kits for pre facelift idk when they will get those kits if ever
Its such a letdown honestly

Maybe try contacting Sazgar directly? I think they have a WhatsApp feedback system in place.

It's concerning if they have parts availability issue for pre FL.

Usually, dealerships don't stock spare tire kits. You have to look from the tire shops.

One of the downsides of the Koreans/Chinese ..

Have to suffer for parts if anything goes wrong. (Can happen with Japanese too but less common).

I feel like thats the case with any car here other than the big 3 and their most common cars, otherwise it would be a 2-4 week wait for non conventional parts.

Ji Ji. I waited 10 months for the replacement steering rack for my Civic.

The internal steering assembly of my H6 needed replacement. The part was arranged in 4 days.

It is sold as an official accessory for the H6 at many dealerships, but yes it's not "Official" official as in from Sazgar / GWM for the pre-FL model.

Have to suffer for parts if anything goes wrong.

I mean it's not technically a spare part. It's more of an aftermarket option that most dealerships offer.

Anyone has any experience with the Cooper Evolution CTT tires that they're using on the PHEV.

I've been trying to find any info on them online but so far, there's barely any good comparisons. On paper, they seem like a downgrade compared to the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 we have had so far on all other variants.

The Cooper tires seem like an everyday all purpose tire that should help with overall ride quality at the expense of performance but it sounds counterproductive to go with a general purpose tire in your high performance variant while rest of your lineup uses the high performance tires.

Has anyone installed the hood struts to their H6? Saw these on aliexpress but not sure if they are available readily in pakistan. Or should i get the proper stabilus ones (Would need a part number for that though)

Gas struts? I did also see them some time ago on Ali Express but completely forgot about that after I bought the car. I've never had to actually open the hood to even notice it doesn't have any.

Hi. I have a spare tyre kit for Haval that I bought with my vehicle. I have now sold the vehicle, so I’m looking to sell the kit as well. It has never been used, not even once. I purchased it for around 35–36k. I am based in Lahore.

Yes. The company outlet showroom. I've had very good experience with them. Hassan is the guy so give him a call though a member from lahore has now posted about the kit availability with him

Thanks guys, I got it booked from Haval Rawalpindi , they will give it to me in 1 week . Total price 30k I paid 15k for booking
Booth Haval Blue area and Haval Rawalpindi said it can be made available on booking , so went with the closest one , Haval Experience isb guy said no booking no availability , dont know why Haval Experience has such clueless people working there
