The overly bouncy suspension is a real issue with this car and really negatively impacts high speed handling.

Isn't it the opposite? That it's a little on the firm side so when hitting a bump, instead of a moving a little, it just aggressively stiffens up and you feel that jolt?

The question is; what are we getting the standard tune or aussie tune. I suspect standard tune, where as we should be getting the aussie tune since most of our roads are like the ones that the aussie version is tuned for.

It's the exact opposite. And it's extremely dangerous when you encounter a small bump or a hump in the road when traveling at speed because it feels like the car would just fly off.

The Aussie variant is a little different from ours since it lacks the front parking sensors and looses out on Autonomous Park because of that as well. The Aussie version also seems to have Sat Nav plus a few other apps built in which I didn't see in our local version.

If we get the suspension and steering tune as an additive then that's a plus but otherwise I wouldn't trade the front parking sensors for a better suspension.

Just got my PHEV few days back. Still adjusting to the driving dynamics.
Have a few observations to share here:
- if you push the car from stationary, i observed a serious jerk after 60km/hr speed, which i believe is the engine kicking in. However, i expected this transition to be smooth and not very noticeable but it is specially if you floor it.
Secondly, i didnt find Android Auto enabled. Any views or experiences on that would be great.

AFAIK Haval announced that this will be coming in a future update and is not available yet. They'll probably roll that out late 2025

Just to make sure; this is flooring it and not using launch control? It looked quite smooth on 0-100 runs with launch control so I'm assuming you're talking about not using that

Damn I was hoping this issue would be fixed in the PHEV but I guess it's not. Not sure if they still intend to fix it in a future patch. Does it happen in all modes, including EV only?

This is a VSC / traction control "bug" (they claim it's not a bug, but a feature) introduced with the Facelift H6 variants. When VSC detects excessive wheel spin, it kicks in more aggressively to limit power to the wheels.

Pre-FL H6 HEV doesn't have that since the VSC algorithm is more relaxed and lets the wheels spin for longer instead of trying to reign them in. It basically worked as VSC set to off for a few seconds, which technically is dangerous.

It's not an issue with Launch Control because you need to turn off VSC to enable launch control.

its not on launch control but while flooring it.
Didnt notice that on only EV mode. It was smooth all the way.
But the jerk was way too pronounced.

Received a call today that OS update is now available. Would be heading there on Saturday.
As per them its a one and half hour process.

Do ask them to check if there are any updates for the ECU or VSC system as well. And try to reproduce the jerk after the update.

I still haven't done the voice command update on the pre-facelift. Just the thought of everything being reset...

Don't they just update when you take it in for maintenance?

I had to ask them for the update , the gentleman sitting next to me was like what update? he also asked them to update his.

Interesting. I've only had once maintenance so far since I got mine in January this year but they specifically checked for any pending software updates as part of that and found a couple of subsystems that did have minor patch updates since I got the car.

Guys do you think jaecoo j7 phev at 99 lakhs will impact h6? I think it will. Looks like a good deal and vehry success internationally

J7 seems like a small car even smaller than MG. Priced as per size and nowhere near H6 PHEV category.
