i owned toyota vitz 2013 model its equipped with an infotainment ( might be Chinese one). So nowadays the head unit turn off automatically this occurs when i was reversing my car the screen turned off or when I’m listening songs it’s automatically turns off.What should i do now?
The best thing you can do now is to get it replaced as normally these Chinese head units are mostly disposable, once they start to malfunction, it is very rare that they can be repaired.
There is some shortage or disconnection occuring in speaker wires which shuts down the headunit as a protective function.Pioneer double din headunits have this too.replace wires of door speakers and put grease on speaker terminals after securely tying wire with it inorder to avoid moisture in those places which then causes headunit to shut off
