When was the last time you overhaul your engine?
There might be a problem with Rusty Engine Block. I've seen the same in one of a Cultus 2002 model.

I am having the same issue with the charade car, recently i replaced the brand new boxed packed radiator, then gaskit replaced, AC gas proper, both Fans working in full speed directly, no coolant just water now. But when i turned the AC ON while car standing position, it won't get hot, while driving its temprature start raising. and during drive engine shut off.

Please Help

check the water pump & replace. plain water in cooling system corrodes the water pump (water body)

check the digital meter when the temp light lit up. Thats' when engine shall be shut down and cooling system be checked for punctured hose pipes, clogged radiator, rusted water pump, & bad radiator cap.

Aoa even my car isnt charade but I have same problem temp rise with ac on....I use Toyota LLC coolant so no cooling system issue ...water pump is 10000 km old but still heating up so I cleaned and straightened condenser fins ....removed bugs and cleaned it with dishwash liquid thoroughly.....they become so clean that I can see light through it then I gave separate respective ground to compressor..condenser fan ....radiator fan and ac blower ....believe me my ac performance improved and heating up issue resolved
