1. Skardu can be reached through KKH turning from Jaglot Towards skardu and the 2nd way is from Astore Deosai Road.
Skardu road will not be completed by eid it will take a lot of time most probably this whole season. It takes around 8-11 hrs from Gilgit to Skardu bcoz of the road work. The travel time will be reduced to around 4 hrs or less once the road work is done.
2. You can reach Deosai from Astore on car but it is not feasible at all. Apka dil toot jae ga aur gari ki bhi boht c cheezen toot skti hain.. Not advised at all. Even the Astore road is not in good shape, carpeting work is in progress
3. You can go till Khunerab border on your car as the road from Raikot till Khunjerab border is all carpeted and good for all sort of vehicles.

How can we reach to Deosai then, Jeep? if yes, where can we find them and approx. cost?

You can leave your car at Astore and hire jeep for a full day to go to Deosai and back to Astore. Rent will be around 10-12 thousand for full day or may be less

Or if you go to Skardu you can leave your car at Skardu and hire jeep from there. Approx same rent

A village near siachen

Last year I went to explore GB and had to cancel my Astore visit due to extremely bad road (stones on road were not even compacted).

I want to visit Astore and possibly Minimarg too (trying to arrange permission already) this year but can someone tell me the latest condition of Astore road so that I can plan my trip accordingly.

Not.much change this year.will have to hire 4×4 from astore.even astore road is not good

Can you or someone else tell me if I can do Gilgit->Astore->Rama->Minimarg->Astore->Gilgit round trip in a day or I should plan a night stay in Rama/Minimarg?

Not possible in one day. What you can do is Do Gilgit- Astore- Rama-Astore in one day and keep one whole day for Astore-Minimerg-Astore/gilgit

Question:

How much a 4x4 jeep will cost approximately for the following:

1- Gilgit -> Rama -> Gilgit
2- Jaglot -> Rama -> Jaglot
3- Jaglot -> Rama (One way only)

I am planning to park my car at either Jaglot or Gilgit and then do either one day trip to Rama or 2 day trip to Rama/Minimarg.

Any information will be much appreciated.
