It was supposed to open till Abbottabad officially in August this year. Technically it's open all the way till Mansehra and maybe even further but only locals know the short cuts to get on the motorway. The shortcut is 10 min away from my home and it connects with existing hazara motorway. I used that route to avoid the 24/7 traffic but they don't allow anymore, maybe closing work is being done. Last time i went, the road was totally complete with some patches in the works, the bridges were incomplete and they had made alternate mud roads next to them which we used. I am waiting for it to open till Abbottabad because main traffic starts after havelian.
