Aoa,

Is Naran closing soon? I called a hotel (Roomy Mountain top resort) and they said they are closing as end of season is here.

Does it mean it cannot be visited lets say coming weekend?

@nagar1 or other knowledgeable fellows kindly advise on this.

1- I want to have a short 2-3 days trip with family. Please suggest if Naran is good to visit at this time.
2- Please advise regarding the best hotel in terms of services and location. Its a family trip so budget is not a concern. Priority is hotel services e.g. Hot water availability etc. as kids will be with us.

Why don't u try kalam this time? You won't find too much greenery but overall scenery is good and you can go uptill mahodand lake.
Naran usually closes in mid toend of october or might be first week of november. Depends upon snowfall and how cold it gets

I went till mahodand with family ...
Roads are in great condition ..now even the rest of swat motorway is opened as well ...
Weather is going to b cold in the morning and at night..
Any car can easily go to malam jabba ( perfect road) amd kalam ( also newly built but some bad patches) ...
For hotels u can checkout jungle inn....

I came back from a 3 day tour of Kalam and it was great. The road was clear and we didn't face any traffic jams or delays. Weather was on the colder side but in a better way.

In Kalam, we stayed at Jungle Inn and what a wonderful place it is. Serene and tranquil. Indeed it's a great resort for families to spend time at.

which place is suitable to live 2 days (i am not fond of touch and go) and would like to stay at one common place. (Madyan or Kalam)
which hotel is the best (i prefer river side hotels)
will my civic do it till Kalam?

Honeymoon hotel is the right place for u as its on riverside. I think they have changed its name niw but honeymoon hotel is also written besides the new name

Hassan Bhai I think New Honeymoon Hotel's name is changed with Hotel Blue Ocean and Restaurant Kalam Swat,

And Honeymoon Hotel is still with same name. which is the best and my favorite hotel and is on river side.
