Help........ Got the car filled with water mixed petrol. How to rectify?

bro its not a big deal at all, yes there will be a mesh and you cannot put a pipe thru the tank, just take out the rear seat and you will find something like this underneath

it will be just 3-4 screws and you will have access to the inner fuel tank, easy peasy,

and even if you get fuel tank down, its not a big deal at all, only half an hour job and without any hassle and i dont think any thing can go wrong with downing the fuel tank.

I have not tried but someone told me that there is a filter (mesh) in filling pipe and a tube can not be inserted inside.

The pipe will not go inside from filling point. U can try a jugaar, but that will not completely empty ur tank. Here what i did few years back to empty the fuel tank. Pull out the motor which is used to spray water on windscreen, and fix the fuel inlet pipe (which gives fuel to engine) to the suction point of that motor, then run the motor using simply the battery of car. It will suck almost all the petrol from car. I dont know how much fuel will still be there.

Otherwise you need to break the jali in fuel filling point and apply the method suggested by zulfiqar.

that someone who told you that was probably dreaming, there is no valve, mesh or anything installed in the Pakistani delivered cars fill pipes.

Thanks everyone for your contributions. We had five cars (2 civic, 2 corolla, 1 city) with same problem. Got fuel from the same pump and it was almost all water. We engaged a team for service at our home, and believe me I had to clean my tank, had to change fuel filter and fuel pump. It cost Rs.22000/- and 50 litre of petrol (Rs.5000) wasted. Oh God.... It was terrible experience.

seriously dude 22k?
every one knows how to drain the fuel using a simple garden hose (the one which does not disolve in petrol)
sucking some petrol out which creates a vaccum and allows 95% of fuel to be removed
rest 5% can be removed by using any car fuel pump

Yeah FFC has its private pump at Mirpur Mathelo plant site.

22K for my car only. 4000 labour charges, 8500 for fuel filter and 9500 for fuel pump. Other cars worked with existing pumps but mine fuel pump motor was faulty.

Yes, it was filled from our private pump. So no need to worry for other Pakwheelers for this particular pump. It was just a bad luck. Our pump works on no profit no loss and there is no doubt on purity and measurement of fuel. We had 300 mm rain in one day and unfortunately water leaked into Petrol Tank from its flange. We have been compenstaed for fuel and may be get compensation for the maintenance charges.

Engine was not working even after removing all fuel. Had to clean fuel tube and all four injectors. In the end had to replace fuel pump motor worth 9500 to start the engine. Fuel filter worth 8500 was replaced as it was soaked with water. Actually the tank was filled with 50% water and 50% petrol. Water was therefore sucked into the engine combustors thru injectors. It took 2 hous for maintenance and then 2 hous to start the engine. But Alhamdolillah its working perfectly after the maintenance job.
