Help PETROL PUMP

I want to tell u one more thing. People generally have the concept that petrol pump owners profit increases with increase in price of petrol diesel. This is not true. They only get a fixed rate of commission per litre of petrol or diesel irrespective of price. Rather increased prices of petrol and diesel are bad for pump owners as they have to keep more amount of working capital to run the pump due to increase in prices of oil. In my judgement petrol pump is not such a profitable business nowadays due to decreased rates of commission but it is easy to run business. If u are dreaming tht u will earn profits of millions per month then i m sorry to say tht this is not the real picture.
I will suggest u rather buy a good running cng pump as good cng pumps make profits of 8-10 lacs per month easily.

Hum ne recently aik new pump khola BYCO company ka. Company ne 3 dispensing units aur shayad 2 underground tanks diye. Baqi sari construction hamne khud karwai. Aur 3 lacs joining fees thi BYCO ki. Ap ko kisi ne galat information di he ke registration 20 lac ki hoti he. Ye to batao ke registration ka matlab kya he aur kaha se hoti he. Pump ke liye licence chaiye hota he jo Explosives department se milta he. Aur apne jo kaha he ke 5 months me product sale karni hoti hai ye sab galat he. 5 months me to pata nai kiti tank lorries petrol aur diesel ki sale ho jati he. Rozana ki sale thousands of litres ke hisab se hoti he. Aur ye jo apne kaha ke 5 years ka contract hota he. Mere bhai ye bi galat hai. Agreement long term ki hoti he 20 ya 30 years. Hamari bhi caltex company ki site thi lekin caltex company ne hame notice diya aur agreement terminate kardi. Phir hamne BYCO pe switch kiya. Bachay we own petrol pumps for more than 30 years.

i hope u r doing honest business. Almost all petrol pumps give less petrol and charge more, like give 900ml as 1 litre. I have yet to meet an honest pump wala. That is why petrol pump owners are earning in millions. They cheat and do dishonest business.
And since you say that you own petrol pumps then you must know the common practice of adding chemicals in petrol to make its quantity high. I know few people who own pumps and trust me they all cheat. They say themselves that if we do honest business it will not be worth it. We will not even make enough money to survive. They also told me that they have yet to see an honest petrol pump and I agree. Unfortunately the best petrol pumps in Pakistan are those that give 900 ml as 1 litre (if you think you will get 100% petrol in 1 litre then you are dreaming). I have seen pumps that give way less than that.

Anyhow, back to the pumps, I totally agree, one of my cousins running his pump since past 10 years clearly told me that the MOST sincere station would cheat by 10%, leave the less sincere ones!

I think it's an investment one could survive best in, if location is outclass and one has sales enough to avoid Haram. Otherwise, your heavy investment will force you to take the forbidden daana!

The best pump I've seen is the one at Kashmir point, when leaving for Muree from Islamabad. Such a guy could really do without haram, don't know of your experiences?!??

i want to tell you guys that cheating done on petrol pumps are not done by the owners of the pump(mostly) but this all is done by the crew of workers working their main person is the cashier their are usually 2 cashiers at the pump and about 4-6 boys working under each cashier..and they cheat us as a team work and this all extra income(by cheating) is used by them and the owner of the pump had to do nothing with is...
as the pay of each worker is about 5K and no one run his house in 5K so according to them they had to do it to run their houses...i know this is totally haram.

the owner of pumps who are active and they spend suffcient time in the pump's office only they make good repo.
