now next in the line is Mugen front grill is there any difference between mugen grill and module grill ? as per my comprehension and the pics i have seen on the net, Mugen grill is matt black all over whereas module grill has chrome lining

guys tel me one thng.... is thre any need to install relay thng for them coz many electricians said tht before installng high power bulbs like koyo japan 95/100w.... they told me tht it wil burn your bulb connector and also switch(with whch u do hi/low)

Normal 55/60w bulbs require no relay and wiring upgrade. These philips xtreme vision and many others are fully road legal (in EU & US, Pakistan is lawless in this area), and thus are plug and play.

The bulbs you are talking about are double the power (95/100w). They pull more amps that the stock wiring and relay does not support. So you'd require an upgrade if u want to install the higher wattage bulbs. Also, more watts = more heat. Heat may damage the plastic headlight case/shroud and warp/ burn it. So be careful.

If I could find HID headlamps for my indus corolla, I would definitely switch over to 4300/5000k HIDs of equal wattage to get more than double the light.
Alas, there are no HID projector headlamps for my model of rolla

On Ebay we can find stuff that can be shipped into pakistan. Its reliable about 95% of the times. Ive ordered through ebay about 30-40 times in last 3-4 years and the buying experience is good. The only tip is to carefully read item description, condition and seller's ratings.

The only bottleneck is that one needs a paypal account to buy on ebay (and I already have one )

You're right.. any package other than just an envelope is opened by them and packed again. So, upon delivery the postman takes 20-30 rs packing charges.

I just want white light for high beams....the yellow highbeam bulb with lowbeam HID does not look good???
will it be ok for my car???

well Diamond Vision wont give you optimum light on high beam. it is whitish in shade and would spread all over, specially in adverse weather. On low beams, one can afford white lights as light has to travel less distance, hence, less chance of spreading. however, on high beam, white light is not recommended at all (unless one has OEM projectors)

Hello. Need your help people. Just bought my new honda city. I have installed depo foglights and was thinking of getting HIDs, until i came to know about phillips xtreme vision halogens. Thus, i have decided to go for them. Can you tell me which types of bulbs will be needed for the headlights and the foglights too? Someone told me h4 for the headlights, and h11 for the other. Plus, where can I buy them and what cost will i incur? Narva bulbs are available in the market, but I guess phillips halogens produce the best results. Dubai Autos' Islamabad salesperson told me he can arrange them, but currently it's unavailable. Lastly, are they safe to use? I mean, do they work fine with stock headlight housing and wiring?
P.S Don't mind if I asked something silly, since I do not possess much knowledge about such stuff - have always driven my cars in stock condition.

first of all congrats on ur new purchase. may it give u miles and miles of happiness with regards to the xtreme vision bulbs, yes they are extremely safe to be used in the stock halogen housing as they are of the same wattage (60/55 W) as ur stock OSRAM Bilux. therefore, there is no need to change any wiring, no need for ANY relay. plus, they dont produce more heat as compared to the stock, tehrefore they are extremely safe to be used as they wont damage the plastic lens cover of the headlights abt the availabilty, well to be honest i never even checked within Pakistan as somehow i dont trust the shopkeepers, may they be of any status. i wud advise and recommend that if u have some relative abroad, get it sourced from there. at least u wud be assured of 100 percent authentic stuff in ur hand

abt the fog lights, i THINK they are h11 but i m not sure. but as u already have the Depo lights, why do u want to change them anyway ? i wud say stick with them. they are good enough on their own

you are welcome. well xtreme vision does not produce whitish light. if it did, they would not be famous for more light on the road as white light has the tendency to disperse on the road, hence giving less visibility. u wud always get the max oight output with yellowish light on the road. x treme vision just produces MORE light on the road (althogh they do claim that the light is 10% whitish as compared to stock). therefore, even if the ten percent phenomenon is true (which many users abroad have negated..they say its just MORE light, much more light, not MORE WHITE) the difference between ur depo and Philips wont be too much. stick with them. trust me
