I am from computer filed so i thought may be icould help you a bit. Go for Intel Core i3 Processor with Intel or Asus Motherboard (Intel motherboard are designed for normal or you can say stable performance only plus point is that they offer full 3 years free of cost replacement warranty if purchased through authorized Intel reseller. ASUS boards are good performance wise but come with 10 months warranty).
My recommendation stay away from AMD's I'm not at all a big fan of AMD's.
Go for a decent GPU if you plan for nivida dont go for anything less then 250GT, in ATI i'd recommend 5570.( A big confusion amongst VGA buyers is VRAM, which is not at all a criteria to judge GPU's performance. General perception is bigger the memory better the performance which is not true at all.)
For Casing i'll suggest you to go for any normal chassis which has better ventilation. for PSU try to get a used 350~450Watts power supply which come in branded systems. They will be cheap and most reliable as well. (Use the money saved through this to buy a better GPU)
