If it’s a cheap brake fluid, even water then system can be recovered but what if he poured engine oil or steering oil. because even if it’s a cheapest brake oil, it is suppose to be hygroscopic and should not throw these warnings. Driver must have poured engine oil in it.

Question: if that’s the scenario then can we wash the system using carburetor cleaner or injector cleaner. Later, drain everything using suction pump and put new dot 3 brake oil in it.

It’s his uncles fault, he should keep on trusting his drivers for fluids change.

im sorry if this is off topic, but can any body help me the error codes for the toyota 4.7L v8 (2uz-fe). my vehicle doesnt have a diagnostic port so we checked the codes manually. it gave us error code 51, 63 and 77.

its not that hard to sort it out, usually the levelling valve If the spheres go bad - you replace em.

I was joking about the replacement part 'using' the failure as a reason

got a sms from uncle he bought a refurbished whole unit for his LC, old one was damaged beyond repairs due to lots of water in braking system. i think his driver puts water in brake oil. i will visit him soon to get the whole story.

Its very common here- no matter how busy or faarigh people are, they consider it an insult to wash or maintain their own car....

mostly when a person is extremely busy and can afford a car that is worth about a regular house in Pakistan - he usually dumps the car at the dealer/showroom to repair it and foots the bill.

The service advisor driver types are usually limited to "jay dee amm POS import", "2D", "cosmatic <-prosmatec or rebon civic"

Its quite the norm in Pakistan - next thing this driver will do is to buy Kenlubes API SC SAE 40 oil and use that in the engine while billing sb jee for the most expensive fairy tears engine oil in the market.

Xulfiqar has answered your question. but issue still remains unsolved. i've come across the codes that you have posted. but these are codes for the obd scanner (4 digit), i need the manual codes (2 digit).

old toyota had their own DLC for the longest time, if not (e.g. new model) then buy a generic OBD2 DLC and wire it up yourself.
