I am very tired now of this 0W20, 5W20 and 5W30 oils for 1kr-fe engine. What I have researched, and have observed in GCC countries and being a mechanical engineer, I have already explained in my posts.
One last advantage of using 5W30 over 0W20 is that you can always floor the throttle without any problem. Since I myself am a fast driver, I very often floor the throttle with rpm touching the red line. With 0W20 oil in my motor, I would think twice before I do this.
Next is CVT oil change if it’s 1kr-fe engine, proper oil should be purchased. I shall explain the proper oil change method we can adopt here in Pakistan considering the resources we generally have in workshops here later.

It’s the other way around bro, no body is arguing on using 5W30. It’s 0W20 which people are confirming about if it can be used in Pakistan. And I know it’s all about fuel average. In our mind set, only best fuel average is what we want to achieve. With 0W20, you can get all that which will make you happy, but on expense of more wear and tear within the engine.
