Agar aap 2015 sey ZIC A+ (5w-20), Fully Synthetic Mobil Oil use kar rahay hain, and have never faced any issues regarding oil grade / viscosity or its any undue effects on engine, then for sure and must, it would work perfectly fine for my car too.
03 years is quite a long time for testing any oil grade, and if 5w-20 has fully succeeded in these years, then it's a must to go.

I will also be switching to 5w-20, API SN, Fully Synthetic Mobil Oil, may not be ZIC A+ (5w-20), but SHELL HELIX ULTRA SN 5W-20 I.A.

Keep in mind that you are supposed to look on to the second number here, I mean 20 which is same for both, 5W20 and 0W20.

This is the critical number here which is responsible for the viscosity of oil at higher temperatures.

And Yup, I totally understand regrading the second no.
Second No. matters most as the first no. / number preceding the "W" rates the oil's flow at 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-17.8 degrees Celsius). The second number after the "W" indicates the oil's viscosity measured at 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius).

Also what care should be taken for gear oil change ? There is a mechanic in Pindi who said that if compression is low he will clean some gear oil lining .. Else only oil will be changed.

I am very tired now of this 0W20, 5W20 and 5W30 oils for 1kr-fe engine. What I have researched, and have observed in GCC countries and being a mechanical engineer, I have already explained in my posts.

One last advantage of using 5W30 over 0W20 is that you can always floor the throttle without any problem. Since I myself am a fast driver, I very often floor the throttle with rpm touching the red line. With 0W20 oil in my motor, I would think twice before I do this.

Next is CVT oil change if it’s 1kr-fe engine, proper oil should be purchased. I shall explain the proper oil change method we can adopt here in Pakistan considering the resources we generally have in workshops here later.

The recommended spark plug is as under:

Toyota OEM Plug Part#90919-01233 Plug# ＳＫ１６ＨＲ１.

It’s the other way around bro, no body is arguing on using 5W30. It’s 0W20 which people are confirming about if it can be used in Pakistan. And I know it’s all about fuel average. In our mind set, only best fuel average is what we want to achieve. With 0W20, you can get all that which will make you happy, but on expense of more wear and tear within the engine.

Want company has recommended is for the Japanese market and environment and not for Pakistan. For our country, the recommended oil viscosity has to be RE-ESTABLISHED, yes RE-ESTABLISHED.

@imrananr and @tintin1 relax guys Look at the image below, this was probably the last oil change in Japan for my car before it was shipped, oil was 5W-30 I am sure Japan isnt short of 0w-20 during this oil change so it is clear 5W-30 is not harmful in anyway and is also recomended for 1KR,

I have gone for 0W-20 this time which probably I shoudnt have considerind the extremely hot weather these days, ill carefully run it for 3-3.5k and will revert back to 5W-30 as it was previously being used in this car even in Japan.

The 2nd km reading is for air filter, I always change oil at 5000km interval, yes there is a noticable change for actual feul economy ill share full tank millage in few days.

But this should be noted that for vitz, passo 5w-30 fully synthetic should be the choice in Pakistan. If Japani ppl used it so can we
