Jibran, in my opinion that if you were driving normally and car has no existing conditions i.e. white smoke, excessive oil consumption etc. than this case should not be related to tappet or cylinder. Sudden loss of power is not caused by wornout piston rather it can be related to ignition, fuel injection or timing (which is rare in 1KR since it has a chain)
Just check your coils, coil connectors, Injectors and injectors connectors. weirdly enough the injectors and coils in 1KR are located in a zone prone to excessive heat and vibrations.
easiest way is to start the car and start disconnecting coils one by one. Then coil that doesnt have any effect on engine idling upon disconnection is the faulty one. repeat the same with injectors. That should help you isolate the problem.

Could you please guide what is the recommended gap for 1KRFE. Also in market there is a new fancy thing called double tip (single firing point but has small iridium tip on both the anode tip as well as the cathode shell side) any idea if those are any good.

The gap should be 0.045~0.050 inches for 1KR.
But for exact accuracy plz check it from the manual.
Double tip plugs, I have used them in my previous cars, and eventually ended up in changing them earlier. They go black so quick start missing, and i don't know why i don't like them so i changed them just after 5K. If you want to try, then sure you can. But in 1KR engine a regular single tip iridium spark plug would be an ideal.

brother its ECO Idling, it switches off the engine when you apply brake for more than 4-5secs, and when you release pedal, the engine is suppose to restart... there will be a green round light on if eco idle is active/on

most likely a bad ignition coil, you must get it checked. issue with Pakistani Mechanics are that their diagnostic skills are very poor. Even if someones understands the issue, the want to suggest a solution which would through your in deep shit hole.
perform an ignition coil test by changing its position, secondly a bad MAF sensor can also gives same symptoms.

Hi guys, i just got a 2011 Passo 1.0 CVT a few days ago. I want to ask what engine oil is best for the car.
0W-20 or 5W-30. I think the recommended oil is 0W-20 but i read on Pakwheels and some people are suggesting slightly thicker 5W-30 if car has milage near 100k. What do you guys recommend.
The care is Grade 4 and says 40k on Odo meter. Although overall condition is very good and the car was kept with care (it had 1 previous owner and paint is all genuine) but i think milage would have been tampered and its must be driven 80k-90k.
So keeping that in mind what oil should i go for
