Thanks for detailed answer. So I guess the silence and sober avatar of Prius is basically what gets attacked in order to give hype to gas guzzling cars which are shown 'macho'.
Just like Ice Cube's Dodge Charger in the same movie.

Yes German paint jobs are really hard. Anyways this is the work of one my friends, not mine.

Products used were:
Step 1 (Cutting): 3M Fast Cut Plus
Step 2 (Polishing): 3M Ultra Fina
Step 3 (Finishing): Meguiars Deep Crystal
Step 4 (Glass Coating): 3M Glass Coating

So, a colleague requested to completely detail his 2010 Honda City. Completely, as in inside-out. The interior besides being all dusty and full of grime has been pampered with Rs.15/- lustre. So the dirt is all embedded in the plastic/vinyl. Surface contamination/ oxidation is at its peak on the exterior garnished by lots of spider webbing. Starting tonight, working all the way to tomorrow evening Inshallah. Hope to give him a nice surprise when he sees it. Your wishes, prayers and guidance is required dear Pakwheelers.

I wasn't born a detailer. Aim is not to lambast anybody but to indicate the wrong procedures, note them to be avoided in future and learn new ways to keep a ride maintained. I personally term a detailing session as 50% of the work. The remaining 50% depends upon the owner as to how he ensures adoption of correct yet easy ways to keep a car in pristine condition. We are car guys, our cars are a reflection of who we are, how we are.
