Dear Fellow Pakwheelers, I wish to share some news, but before that please get your cars refueled today or as soon as possible. It is regarding the Shortage and Upgradation / Upgraded fuel / Petrol we will get in Pakistan. My Review and Opinion is for Karachi and hence the same can and may apply to Pakistan. So without further delays .........
Just today I went to get my car refueled and the PSO Abdullah Shah Ghazi on 26th Street DHA Phase 5. While waiting the manager shared some information and I wanted to forward it to everyone. Please correct me if there is a dispute as I stand corrected if the figures are up and down. As per the manager there are 2 problems and solutions :
- Petrol Shortage from 5th to 7th or 8th November (Premier XL 80+ (84RON) will be upgraded to Premier Plus XL 90RON)
- Hi Octane Shortage from 5th to 13th November ( HOBC 90+ 92RON or 95RON will be Ultron 97RON )
I then resumed home and got out to refuel my 2nd car and went to Total (Khayaban-e-Muhafiz near Ali Masjid Phase 6 DHA) to check authenticity of this shortage and the refueling personnel shared the following :
- Same Petrol Shortage expected but Normal Fuel (already 88 or 90RON) will be available and no upgrade is expected - Refuel here in shortage just in case as Total Pumps will have Petrol.
- Hi Octane will be renamed to Turbo and shortage from 6th to 10th November (name can be disputed) but will be upgraded from 92RON to 95RON or 97/98RON.
Simple as that I went home and went to then refuel my 3rd car to Shell Bahria (Near 2nd Street DHA Phase 5) and was told while refueling :
- Petrol Shortage from 6th to 10th November (Super Unleaded 80+(86RON) will be upgraded to Super Premier/Deluxe 90RON/92RON)
- Hi-Octane which is already short will resume by 12th November and will be upgraded from 90RON to 96RON.
Just in case please refuel your cars and generators and stay safe. Further updates will be provided per se and per upgrade. All reviews are based from DHA Karachi and not biased and based on my experiences and views. Jazakallah and Peace Out !! (A)
Just hope that the prices stay constant and we get the proper Fuel and Hi Octane. Once deliveries start I hope there is no shortage as I hate it when there is no Hi Octane !! Petrol will be from 86 to 90 RON. Hi Octane Will vary from 95 to 98 RON. That's as far as i got the information and the rest will be facts and figures. Feel free to pitch in and share news.
[ P.S ] - In the mean time all Diesel Peeps can enjoy their Cruises and Long Drives in this shortage period (Just Kidding)
