So we climbed down the cliff ,it was at least 50 to 60 feet down and a very steep one:

Ducati,actually the slope was at around 65 degrees and had a lot of lose gravel too that made it a little bit tricky but we made it in one piece (Alhamdolilah).

Wow 65 degree slopes arent fun ! glad to see all of you made it safe and sound When I used to hike I'd hate chain ladders and even more so when it was raining

Perhaps you should plan a trip to this part of the world, there are some awesome hikings trails here and a few of those will take you 4-5 days to traverse through stunning scenery.

Ducati,actually there were some gaurd rails and chainlink ropes at one spot (we didnt take any picture of that....guess why??),yes you are right it is not that much fun specially when the conditions are wet.
Thanks for your suggestion regarding comming to your back yard,we still have a lot to cover here in our back yard.
We have a plan to do some Yosemite trails ,i have heard that they are fantastic in spring time.

So back to our topic........................
after some rigorous back tracking we kind of got back to the original trail,but still we were not too sure about the whole situation,as we were continuing our hike we came across a group of people from the opposite direction,they seemed like a contingent of boy scouts and there adult leader,they had some digging equipment with them like spades and rakes,we asked them about the "Bear Flat" trail,they said that we are on it but heading in wrong direction,so any way we joined that group and started the journey along with them.
We found out the that these boy scouts were there to repair the trail as it was destroyed by the fires a month ago,we were also told that the trail has been closed to public for the same reason towards the end .
