The liqui moly series you are using is leichtlauf or mos 2

Both are non synthetic
If using liqui moly then ask the supplier to provide you LM 10w40 diesel tech oil the change interval for that is 15000 kms minimum and is ck+ 4 compatible

i am using 10w40 super leichtlauf which is fully synthetic. Local dealers have no clue, I directly checked with liquimoly technical team in germany. They said European Acea B4 is equivalent or surpasses the amercian CK 4 standard and recommended 10w40 super leichtlauf. I am pretty satisfied with it, improved the mileage otherwise hilux was already performing well.

Liquid Molvi sells like fresh cakes in Pk for some reason when chevron is readily available.

Its laughable.

Anyway, i have come to know some geniuses with prepped cars do oil changes every 100 kms because “race lagnee ha” 🤣

Sir we are new to this and are easily misguided. If you can explain further why Chevron Delo gold is better than a synthetic oil, it will save a lot of costs for us, as we are easily misguided if someone says that oil is better than delo gold.

Super or mos 2 leichtlauf are not that much synthetic like other brands valvoline AMS oil.
And yes people in Germany if you email them they would satisfy you till the roof and in reality when catastrophe hits they just put the blame on techs and mechanical failures.

Sir try to extend the drain interval step by step giving a gal of 500 kms each I'm between and take the oil change upto 7000 kms if oil is not consumed the will recomwnd to switch it to either mobil 1 or some other oil brand

After lessons from Xulfiqar i have increased oil change interval to 10000 for my Altis. And always 0-20w full synthetic PSO.

Chevron outlets are very good. I get oil change for my 80 series from chevron, so far so good Allhumdulillah

Multi billion dollar company like liquimoly doesn't need to misguide to upsell their products. On the other hand we can always double check their recommendations. ACEA A3/B4 is european equivalent to Amercian Standard API CF. Recommended drainage is 10000km for 10w40 super leichtlauf as they term it as synthetic technology. Although 15w40 series super and mos2 are mineral based.

I have yet to see a single industrial, manufacturing, marine or similar setup have liquid molvi branded product drums. While I have come across almost all of them using chevron, exxon, shell, BP etc.

A single moving component in such places costs about 300 to 400 times a pedestrian level hilux would.

The liquid molvi marketing is very strong in Pakistan, and people will lap it up because “german hai”

Mostly because people in Pakistan follow an imaginary scale of

English
Amrici
Japani
Taiwan/Korea
China
Desi/local

Scale is in ascending order.

Lets argue on another point, being german origin why isnt liquid molvi used in any sort of factory fill in any of the 3 big car brands of Germany itself, their lube suppliers are usually BP, Shell, Exxon, Chevron or Fuchs.

I would happily use the mgx 400 in a 1KD as it carries quite a lot of approvals and is also low ash which is great for dpf and regen engines too. One of them is mb228.31 which is long service interval, in passenger cars with 3.0 DI engines the oil is stretched out to 22000 kms. (8 liter sump)

The only catch is frigid (-30c) temperatures which can cause startup difficulty.

Make sure the oil filter is genuine or high quality and you dont run it dead cold all the time, make sure the engine has been driven for atleast 45 minutes (driven and not idling) before the oil change is done to ensure all soot is dispersed and suspended in the oil.

The thing is not about liqui moly company thing at all the thing is after all this discussion as per your comment its still cf compatible oil then why don't you use the cheapest Toyota petron plus 10w30 engine oil. Cost less makes less mess too rather then spending so much on expensive oil.
The thing I am focused on is about the new gen oils like ck+ which has more detergents and are more compatible and engine friendly for DI fuel system vehicles rest you can use what ever brand you wish to use. But remember using ancient tech oil like cf, cc, CD is baseless in new gen engine like 2017 with new fuel and pilot injection maps as compared to older gen 1kds .
