u r right jumbo jet these cultural bed foards are showing our busses and when foreigners visit pakistan they like to take pics of these and enjoy it alot

These buses do have "Stop button"..which alerts the driver to stop the bus with a beep/sound....

We have lot of these kind of buses in karachi...but we still hav those pathetic uncomfortable 11-C,2-k type of buses 1950's model i guess :p...but now they r being replaced by these new buses gradually which is a great move by gov.

Some famous words used daily in buses..by a conductor

1. Doubley ustaad
2. Ruk sha/break sha ustaad
3. khali khali hai..charoo charoo (even if ppl r standing ass to ass till the gate)
4. Amma/khala jaldi utro dair ho rahi hai
5. Rukna ustaad Ladies hai.
6. Kiraya haath mey rakhna sahab.
7. Or eik bandey sey on average 4-5 daffa keraya zaroor mangney atey hai..pata nahi they dope or smthing..

I WAS AT THE CEREMONY WHEN IT WAS LAUNCHED..
HINO PAK MADE A GUD EFFORT TO MAKE THIS BUS BECAUSE IT HAS NO OTHER OPTION OF DRIVING UNLESS CNG..
IT HAS 6 CYLINDERS OF 12 KG..
THEY SAY IT IS 7000 CC NOT CONFIRMED ABOUT HP..
BUT IT HAS NO SOUND..
NOW THE FACTS..NEGATIVE..
IT CANNOT BE USED FOR LONG DISTANCES..COZ IT NEEDS REFULING AFTER 170 KMs..
THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH APPROX..4 AND HALF MILLION..
U CAN HAVE AN A.C DIESEL BUS IN THIS PRICE..
THEY GAVE IT TO URBAN TRANSPORTERS FOR TEST DRIVE FOR TEN DAYS BUT NO ONE INTRESTED YET..DUE TO PRICE..
SO U HAVE TO HAVE A CNG STATION IN ORDER TO HAVE THESE BUSES..

Its a BIG trap by Govt. once everyone or almost many vehicles converted into cng the govt.will kick @ss the cng price like petrol...U will see in future definately
