i think its capable of doing (AC) as u mention... let see i am waiting for the technician he will be at my home after 8PM today for wiring than i will let you know..

my aim is to use TV, My Computer, 3 Fans and 3 Energy saver... (by shop) he said 2 KV is enough for you to use these things up to 2 hours (by UPS have 2.5 - 3 hours backup time) let see...

i have a 1500 watt ups. made by a rather experienced electrician(he worked in sony). it runs 4 fans 2 lights simultaneously. i have even run computer with 3 fans and 5 energy savers. and once by accident someone plugged the fridge in it. the poor inverter ran it for 10 minutes then i saw that the fridge compressor was running so i quickly unplugged. btw does this thing have a warning buzzer, mine gives a warning sound in case of any problem or low battery

brother 2000 KV have 1320v actually not fully 2000v .... you can manage everything under 1300... well

btw however good the ups id never recommend running a tv or computer on it. except in offices where you arent the one paying for the loss

I have a Homage Vision 1000 with a 130A phoenix battery for sale if anyone's interested. Bought it at the end of summer last year and since then i've moved to bahria, so it's hardly used. I have no use for it anymore since there's no load shedding here.

today's i have bought China Homeage UPS 2 KV in 14,000 Rs along with Pheonix 2 150a batteries (9000 per battery) total cost me 33,000!

About Pakistan made UPS, The story behind Pakistan made UPS is not actualy PAKISTAN made. Govt applied duty on UPS thats why dealers import UPS in shape of (parts) open UPS in China and import (like parts) and assembled in Karachi. They are not actually PAKISTAN MADE UPS. I have bought China made HOMEAGE Ups along with 2 batteries. let see how it will work.. i will explain my experince later after using Homeage!

Phoenix has started increasing their battery prices. Last year I bought Phoenix 150 AH battery for 7200 Rs. Then in this winter season, the price for the same battery was 8500 Rs and now 9000 Rs.
As for the government imposing tax on UPS, this is very very shameful. Instead of providing electricity for 24 hours, our government is imposing heavy taxes on UPS. Infact if they can not solve the energy crises, they should not put any tax on products like UPS, batteries and solar panels to facilitate the nation.

I bought AURORA UPS, 2KVA ,1200 watt ,24Volts, from Metro Islamabad 2 weeks ago for Rs.16,999/-
looking exact like homage and function wise also same. but the problem is when i went to college road last week, i found the price were quite low, for Homage 1kva Rs.7,000 and 2kva Rs. 10,000. and it was shocking and confusing because i have bought it for almost 17,000 a difference of 7,000 is clearly visible. what you say please comment and compare the quality of homage and aurora. (NOTE:there is no tax in metro for the 2kva Aurora UPS)

Should this happen ? Isn't no load supposed to mean that you can run your daily appliances as you have been doing as always ?

what is its price now a days? and this should not happen, as by passing direct line power to the appliances means no load at all. you should claim warranty for that. and ever you tried the narrow-wide button? and what is the line voltage normally. i think it drops below 180 Volts thats why it got tripping, switch the button to wide range and it would not be tripping it the problem is voltage.

Homage is an Inverter NOT UPS.

Well one of my friend just bought Homage UPS for his PC. He is a proefssional power user of computers relating to film making. So main cause was NOT to abruptly turn off PC on power failure.
According to him, the UPS backup is fine, but whenever the KESC is gone, and UPS coming to backup mode gets his system restarted, and he is furious on this Homage service centre is at Saddar by the way and he is going to get his UPS replaced. I'll share his recent experience with the customer service people in a while when I'm informed.

Why dont you opt for United UPS. They are a bit expensive but works very fine. Just get the original ones.
