Well one of my friend just bought Homage UPS for his PC. He is a proefssional power user of computers relating to film making. So main cause was NOT to abruptly turn off PC on power failure.
According to him, the UPS backup is fine, but whenever the KESC is gone, and UPS coming to backup mode gets his system restarted, and he is furious on this Homage service centre is at Saddar by the way and he is going to get his UPS replaced. I'll share his recent experience with the customer service people in a while when I'm informed.

Why dont you opt for United UPS. They are a bit expensive but works very fine. Just get the original ones.

It's the Same thing. General public calls it UPS while technical guys call it inverter.

Inverter and UPS are NOT the same thing!

UPS means Uninterruptible Power Supply. A UPS is used in situations where the switchover time is critical. A UPS can detect power loss and switchover to batteries in less than 25 milliseconds. An inverter cannot switchover in such a short time.

Thus a computer which is running while connected to an inverter will restart upon power loss because the inverter does not have the capability to switchover to batteries fast enough. But the same computer will keep running if it is on the UPS. Thus a UPS is always more expensive than an inverter.

UPS is essential for medical equipment, computers, surveillance systems etc. For fans, lights etc an inverter can do the job.

I bought this INVERTER which is named as Inverex Xp it is connected to the pc but the Pc doesn't have to restart on powerloss it continues running.

Inverex XP looks like an inverter but it is a UPS, according to the manufacturer.

my homage inverter ia charging the batteries ans the line mod light blinks the battery never fully charges rather they are boiling water this was the reason i cganged the old ones. how can i change from.continous charging to normal cha4ging and whats the normal and wide button for will i have to use wide mode with 200 amp batteries
