I have a Honda 70 that runs perfectly in dry conditions and even when idling in the rain. However, when I start riding in the rain, it shuts down after a few meters. The strange part is that it starts immediately after stopping, but as soon as I ride again, it shuts down.
I’ve already tried changing the spark plug and cap, but the issue persists. It only happens while the bike is in motion during rain.
What could be causing this? Could it be water affecting the ignition system, wiring, or something else? Any suggestions on how to diagnose and fix it?
