Because these cars are expensive in Japan as well. Duty etc alone on a 1500 cc car will cost you around 800,000rs this includes shipment as well. A nice 4 grade is available in 500,000-600,000 yen which means 600,000-700,000. So adding it becomes 1.4 m- 1.5 m. Car has also to be registered for approx 50k. Thats why these cars are expensive.

Yep as on the wikipedia its a Station Wagon/Estate Car Version of HONDA City:

& as for Average/Fuel Consumption as per Quoted by HONDA Japan is: 18Km/Ltr 2WD, 17Km/Ltr 4WD

Dear Fed Bhai . First of all Most Welcome to the Club Buddy! Well it depends on the the trim that you've been importing. The links mentioned in my first post will help you very much extent.

Its a bit off topic (sorry for that) but i might get some experts comments here. I bought a Honda Airwave after selling my City 09. Airwave have same engine and transmission as of the Steermatic. almost 90% Japanese cars meters are reversed so dont know the actual mileage. Car will be arriving in 2 days, I have to plan following things.
1- CVT oil change
2- Engine oil change
3- Oil filter change
4- Air filter change
5- Plugs change
6- Throttle body cleaning
7- Valve clearance
8- break service

All will be done from Honda 3s , What else should I take care about?

Your planing is rite, include coolant & brake fluid & also asked 3S guys to scan it through steermatic software so all the sensors will be cross checked & then also checked it on road , D , MD , S , MS , L , it fun

First of all i think The Things Aamir bhai have told you are very helpful. Further I want to suggest you to use
1. LIQUI MOLI's(Made in Germany) Engine Flush (Reduce Engine Noise & Cleans all carbon deposits) & the INJECTOR CLEANER further on(Increases the Pick & Improves Fuel Consumption).
2.As for the Air Filter it might give you problem to find it Because its not much common JDM. Its Air filter is Square Shaped & the City's Air Filter is as follows:


To my Knowledge the solution are:
1.To Install the Fliter Material in the Plastic core of filter, In Lahore I know a person that does it.
2.To cut the Side piece of City's airfilter by a hot Metal Bar.
3.The most Suitable but Some way difficult is to get a City 08 Air Intake from Scrap Market like Bilal Gunj. It'll give you no problem for Many Years!!

The rest Services can be done easily.

Well thats all for now. I will try my best to help you out by my Experience of AIRWAVE. As for the late reply i keep on checking the thread but there were zero visits all the time. & please do share your car pics Here!!

Offcourse I,ll do the engine flush its my habbit when ever i change oil brand i first do engine flush. you make me worry about the air filter thing, any chances of availability here in Islamabad. and if I bought 08 citi's air filter only side cutting of plastic is required ?? as mentioned in below pic circled in RED. I dont want to change its whole filter casing with 08 city.

Suggest me a midrange engine oil too.

i dont know the trim of my car. but in the dashboard I can see a key is blinking unfortunatly only one key comes with the car and that too without the buttons its a simple key which lock/unlock and start the car.

JAZAKALLAH Brother. So nice of you! As for the airfilter, yes, only side cutting is required, these are steps
1.Plastic that You've boxed red have to be Cutout with Hotted Knife to fitto shape of the Box that holds it.
2.To make it perfect airtight First you've to remove Rubber Seal from the Sidings of Filter
3.Remove the plastic part with knife, also short the rubber seal to fit on to the sidings after removing it.
4.Fix rubber on Sidings & Close the box.

As for the market of Islamabad I've not much Idea, because here in Lahore TOYOTA Fielder is much Popular than AIRWAVE, & also the airfilter isn't available easily. As for many other parts like Oil Filter they are same to City, so there is no issue. Other wise find some Shop that changes the filter paper(YELLOW PART).

The Engine Oil options are:
1.CALTEX Formula, as in the city fan club a Member Fahad has attained 22Km/Ltr on the 1300cc i-DSI, Price is almost 2200
2.HONDA Synthetic Oil is also a Good Option, it can give you 20Km/Ltr, & as its Specifically for Honda, I think its a problem free Oil. Almost Rs.2200
3.Aamir Bhai(accord7362) had used Mobil One for there STEERMATIC, Not much idea.But its price last time i Checked was 6000. & i think its better to use a Good Quality oil & Change it after 2500Kms Rather than buy some expensive & Drive it for longer times.

For some more infos i think you should contact Aamir Bhai ! Because the Airwave & Steermatic are built n same platform & much much similarities. Only the Difference of body.

Reason?? I've drove Three Vitz & one BELTA. There brakes are as new as Zero Meter, My Cousin in Japan Told me that whenever you take your car for an oil change or any service its there Govt. Traffic Law that the Brakes of the Car must be All time Serviced & having ZERO Defect ! Its to avoid the accidents as much as possible! Lets see what you Got!
By the way when its expected to come to Pak?

Thanks brother for such information. the car is in Pakistan I have checked it and drove it too but it was pretty dirty so send it for complete cleaning. hopefully on monday i grab it back.
