I dont know about fielder but have heard positive reviews from everyone about it, but i have driven airwave and believe me its awesome. Great car. If i had to choose between both then i would definitely choose it. Parts are no issue, the car is new in the market but its not gonna vanish, its here to stay mark my words. Awesome design and soundless engine. Great drive brakes etc everything. Seats are very comfortable and their design is same as that of accord cl9. Airwave is a bit expensive compared to fielder (difference of 50-100k) but fielder has better market nowadays. I hope people start thinking of getting this great car too instead of conventional mentality to buy only local made cars.

Here is an honest advice. In fact it is for everyone about to buy a car and confused.

i) Stand at a distance and look at the cars.
ii) Have a drive of both cars, feel the ride.
iii) Ask for maintenance and other issues you would possibly face.
iv) Look inside your pocket.
v) Buy one 'jis pay pehli baar mein dil a gya tha' after taking a look and driving it.

Taking a rational decision, make one out of above points your priority to break the ice if you are still confused.

Is there any difference in the rear seats of fielder and the usual sedan? I went to buy Axio fielder but i didnt like the rear seat, it was not as spacious as there is in sedan or there is a difference in the design of the seat.. anyone who can confirm that or its my WEHM

FIELDER ALL THE WAY
I HAVE FIELDER SINCE 4 MONTHS . VERY COMFORTABLE ..PETROL AVERAGE IS VERY GOOD(12KM/L IN CITY AND 21KM/L ON HIGHWAY 1500cc) ...PARTS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE IN TOYOTA SERVICE...ROAD GRIP IS BETTER

BUT AIRWAVE FRONT LOOK IS BETTER BUT REAR LOOK IS VERY.......BAD

Airwave gives me 15 ~ 16 KM/Ltr in city, haven't tried motorway yet.

IMO Fielder.

I complete understand the shape is never change but year dose metter and I am coming to pakistan on Starting of May, and hoping that time I will find the 2008 Model, one dealer told me from karachi the 2008 model on the way.

I put normal fuel from Shell. Gives me 15~16 on local
Please note that mine is 4WD

If you understand that Civic is a better car than Corolla, and Corolla is a better car than City, then I would say there is no reason to argue any further. Fielder is better than Air wave because Fielder is a Corolla, and Air wave is a City.

Production of Airwave started in Japan in 2005 and ended in 2010. How can you expect parts availability and resale of a car whose production has stopped??? May be people are buying it in Pakistan right now due to ignorance. But I think its future in this country is uncertain.
